It is with great excitement that I announce to you Console Wars: Revenge Of The Gifs. A monthly contest that allows the Community to participate in and vote to crown a winner.

How does it work? You (NeoGAF) create your own Gaming related Gifs and Memes and post them in the Monthly Contest Thread. Every month a new thread will be created. Post your Gifs and Memes in the thread. At the end of the month, the submission with the most likes wins.

One Rule... your submission must be your own work. No digging up old Gifs from NeoGAF and using them, unless you are the creator of them.

The Contest starts with The January Console Wars Contest Thread. It will be posted on January 1st. Submissions start January 1st and end January 31st. Winner is crowned by most likes of a single submission.

Winner gets bragging rights and a TAG "Master of all Gifs and Meme's... but you lose that TAG when a new winner is crowned. Unless you are the winner again.

It doesn’t have to be Gifs. It can be anything. Simple meme.

Do it for NeoGAF. For the glory, the likes, and for the fun.

Or better, create an Off Topic thread asking for help. We have great people here that I'm sure would love to help you out.

They don't have to be Gifs. I made this in less than 5 minutes with the links Domisto provided

At the very least, providing your entries in the monthly contest supports the Community and will get you some likes. Not bad for a minimum reward imo
