The trailer looked amazing to me. They really stepped up the graphics. I'm kinda in a wait n see mode on the villains...there's just too little information. I do like how sinister they look. I just hope the game can bring what i call "epic comedy" like they did in Borderlands 2. The story in 2 was segmented but still great within those segments, the DLC was amazing and worth every red cent.
I want this on Xbox One X if it is 60fps. Otherwise I'll forego my lack of HDR on my PC and get it on Steam(?).
Speaking of launchers, I hope this launches on both Steam and Epic. I feel like Borderlands can make a statement to quell the console-ish war thats brewing on pc right now because Epic is not facilitating healthy competition. They are attempting a hostile takeover without any regard for the consumer.

LOL walmart....seriously? I'm buying The Outer Worlds through MS store. If you haven't guessed already I don't plan on supporting EPIC whatsoever. If they sold the game in any OTHER stores then guess what, if that option were available I would gladly purchase it through them and NOT EPIC. There are other stores out there you know and it's just not Steam. It's like you're purposely trying to ignore this damn fact and just want to argue.

Never thought I'd say this, but at this point I'd take Rage 2 over Borderlands 3. The latter looks like a relict of a bygone age, the former seems to be a game that fulfills the potential of the predecessor by bringing together just the right two studios.

Remember the art style limits the "graphics" of borderlands. It will never have a massive change like Rage 1 to Rage 2.

No but seriously this is a bit of a joke now... Borderlands 1 remaster is out Tuesday and the UK still has no details at all, like no digital pre-order, no price, not even any information of if we will even get it at retail, which would be utterly bonkers if so...

You would dismiss an entire game because the use of one maligned word? Can't you just cringe and keep shooting? Did you play B1 or 2?? Trust me, the writing is one of the best parts about the game. You go in expecting hyperbolic, clever and hilarious stories of absolute insanity. Don't take this game too serious, because the game definitely doesn't take it too serious. To give you a perfect example of this...the main villain's Horse's name...is Butt Stallion...

Yeah I think Upper Echelon Gamers' video (which I posted above in this same page) made some valid inferences on the game being likely a EGS exclusive. Just doesn't make sense that to announce the game with trailers and everything, and then ask gamers to check back in a few days for "more information".

Probably to try to mitigate backlash on it being a EGS exclusive. Kinda pointless IMO since they are basically withholding information they could have put into the trailer itself.
If it is EGS exclusive I won't bother with it since all the other BL games I have are on Steam and I prefer keeping them all in one place.
At least it won't be like Metro's 2 week bait and switch so I don't have an issue with it being exclusive there.
