A lot of you seem to care a bit much honestly for being sick or tired about the game.
It looks like Gears, which is good, since 4 only looked like gears for a fraction of the time.
And it looks to be a little darker than 3 and 4, which is good, again. The series needs to go back to its roots: b-movie horror/splatter action.

If you're actually serious, everyone's got chest pads.
A common feature between all the types of armor is that they are made up of a chest plate which is held together by two "seals", which resemble two large circles over the chest area. There are also identification lights that are on certain areas of the armor and power pack.

Yes they were. The device in 3 didn’t kill The locust, it crystallized the emulsion in their bodies causing them to cocoon thus rendering them in a state of dormancy, so they were all thrown in mass burial sites since their cocoons were impenetrable. When they came out as scions, they found a way to to combine human dna with locust to create the swarm. Which is also why they began abducting humans, to create more swarm to serve the scions.

Agreed. Visually, he tells a story. He's much more interesting than in 4.
I like the way Gears 5 is shaping up. The lead transition to Kate feels organic, other characters are evolved, cool looking environments.
I wanna see how they innovate. Excited to see the game in action and a big info drop at E3.

Instead of typing SJW 10 times or asking about video game boobs: Talk about making TC fix the broken multiplayer, catering to only the Mexican market only for some godforsaken reason, lag everywhere, broken shotgun, bad ranked system, having two different tuning for their game, loot boxes everywhere, and bad extra rotating content.
Multiplayer ain't broken, I play it daily. The same people who are complaining about Gears 4 MP are probably the ones who complained about Gears 3/2/1 MP at the time of release. It's always the same complaints -lag, sponging, hit detection, wallbouncing blablabla.
Gears MP fans are probably the most ungrateful, whiney players on the market.

I have 100 days played and thousands of games played and I'm diamond in King of the Hill. Im 90% sure I've played more than you and know the game better. It's never been this bad.
I can Up A, Back A, Slapshot, Analog Bounce, Mental Shot and Reaction Shot. I watch all of the Gears eSports tournaments. Escalation is better than Execution. I destroy kids on a daily bases.

The only way they can get viewers is by dangling skins in the casuals faces for 6 six hours. Nickel and diming everybody with their overpriced black steel loot boxes that dont even really py out to the teams like they claim. What kind of still born eSports scene splits it audience and where the vast majority don't even play on competitive settings. I'm a grown man with a life, I'm not spending my precious time playing hour long escalation matches with as many quitters and bullshit that in this game.
You mean to tell me you can take Gears 4 seriously when the pros themselves don't play online and says it's a different game on LAN vs offline?
Or when glitches like this ruin matches?
Or the people running around with 250+ ping sponging shots and doing whatever dumb shit they want?

You're decent but the Gnasher is just inherently inconsistent, it's simply unfixable. That's why all the Gears games have had these issues. Also, the eSports players are undeniably the best players in the game. I have had KOTH games that last longer than Escalation games, the difference in length is quite small.

Just writing the shotgun as unfixable gives TC more reason to be lazy. When Apex, PUBG, and Fortnite have/had gun problems the community doesn't just sit and take, they demand it to be fixed. It's not that hard. Gears isn't some special game.

I don't know if ill pick this up , i co-oped Gears 4 with my brother , we could only take the first hour and a half before turning it off. it looked great but i thought it played really bad. So ill hold off with this until it at a low price.
I like Phil Spencer and the Xbox X but next gen they need to bring more to the table for me.
