I watched him a couple years ago, but he is very contradictory. He has a ton of anti-Sony videos (which is the main reason I stopped watching him). If you watch his pick up videos he's always picking up a PS4 game. He bashes on Sony, but then he has a CD case full of classic PlayStation game(s). It was infuriating to watch after a while. If he would drop the Sony-hate then he might be interesting to watch again.

They were once something like the "Borg" of the gaming industry, consuming successful studios left and right and adding their creative properties under their umbrella--while completely destroying the studios they bought. They deserve full blame for all the wonderful game franchises we've lost.
But this latest foe that is spreading its ideology and politics (enforcing it, really) is possibly even worse than EA ever could be. And I don't know what's worse, really: is it REEEEEsetEra or the business executives who cave so easily to them? And I don't know that EA was really the Borg so much as, maybe, they were the Klingons of old. At least EA would go on to release more entries in those treasured franchises. This REEEEEE Collective is bent on assimilating everything and making everything like itself. No independent thought is allowed by the collective. Breaking free from the collective will get you de-personed.

Years ago I would never have thought of including a games 'journalist' in my videogame shitlist. But man how times have changed. What really pisses me off is how these 'journalists' sacrificed whatever intergrity they have just to please the corporations giving them their free shit. In doing so they've abandoned the people they should be looking out for, the consumer.
And what's worse? They've joined what you've dubbed The REEEEE Collective and fully bought into the whole identity politics bullshit that's infecting a lot of entertainment now.

You bring up a good list there, OP. It is kinda funny that Quinn is talked about so much in gaming circles. What exactly is her contribution to gaming anyways? Did she make a game that released?
Ree et al is definitely number one, but it might be characterized better as the entire movement that they symbolize where games aren't games anymore, now they're political soapboxes. I'd put Pitchford higher on my list, and Sweeney at spot 2 or 3. I don't really have a problem with Anita, she's just a feminist gaming ambulance chaser, but she's just trying to make money off of the whole thing, which I get. At least she actually made gaming related videos at one point, whether or not I agree with her. I'm totally fine just ignoring her and letting her milk her audience.

So much controversy and conflict with other studios(Sega) AND fans Cliffy B back in the Gears of War heyday was annoying and seemed very arrogant, seems like failure has humbled him though. Bobby Kotick runs Activision like a casino rather than a video game company. Alot of the Microsoft execs at the beginning of the Xbox One release were intolerable, with constant BS about DX11, the power of the cloud etc being complete fabrications.
