Standard gamer grrl dev piercings, hair, attitude, lack of any discernible talent apart from ability to hook up with young games journalists. Syphoner of cash from the mentally weak. Protected by a wide circle of white knight cucks who will never, ever, access her vagina, but hold out hope, seeing as all it takes to get in there is to go to a dev convention. Even if what lies within is a yeasty end to your industry career.

3: Randy Pitchford. Swindler, crook, cheat, unable to speak a word of truth. Abuses fans, loses company secrets on USB sticks, boasts about barely legal porn, fires voice actors for asking to be paid. Creator of Aliens: Colonial Marines, or rather, sub contracter to a shitty dev using Sega's money of a game that deserved zero sales, and was laughed at by everyone who played it. A truly worthless human turd. A disaster on twitter, a nightmare for any PR company, somehow in bed with Epic and finding continual new ways to screw over both his colleagues and consumers. A man with not a single redeeming quality.

2. Anita Sarkeesian. Non gamer, caught early admitting she doesnt know anything about games. Sees sexism literally everywhere. Will hire herself out to any studio dumb enough to inject her ailing bank account with woke cash. Took vast fortunes to produce pitiful amount of laughably poor videos. Forced to publish own finances, doesn't pay interns, while sucking down fat unearned salary from donations to her cause by the mentally weak. Consulted on games, for large sums, the total contribution was to change men to women. Put her begging bowl down ad CDPR's door and was laughed out of court. Face like a mule taking a shit while drowning.

1. Resetera woke collective. A gathering of the worst minds in fandom, the most feeble brained, super self cucked, unable to live in the world, non binary, pronoun obsessed, cretinous fucks every to congregate around a single ideology, that of strangling the creative freedoms of anyone choosing to work in the medium of games. Hated by developers, hated by right minded gamers, ignored by the mainstream. Impossibly to engage with in any actual debate, deathly fearful of logic and reason. Criticise someone black? Racist. Question a decision of a brave trans person? Transphobic monster. As far as their abysmal hive mind is concerned, no one in any self inflicted marginal position is able to perform anything wrong, once they've adopted the standard piercing/hairdye/pronoun/hormonal disgusting man boobs/ moustached face with pink chemo wig on top outfit. If there was one section of humanity it would be permissable to wipe from existence, this would be my choice without hesitation.

My current No 1 annoyance is :

1. Western Games Companies At Conferences.
Obligatory pushing women to the front of the line for credit and invariably it will be a blue/green haired overweight feminist. Any men have to be of minority backgrounds or Gay or extremely emasculated. Acceptance speech's always talk about either how 'diverse' their studio/ game is or how fantastic women are in general. It's almost as if developing awesome games is an after thought to ticking all your political boxes. As someone living in Asia it's a glimpse into the madness of the progressive west.

Whoever conceived mobile phone "gaming" with gatcha mechanics. That shit was aggressive cancer that has spread to consoles in the form of lootboxes and other microtransactions. It also prevented console games from being made to focus on making those shitty mobile games, not to mention that it contributed to the downfall of handheld systems.

That might be true to an extent (the general populace not really knowing of their existence), but the problem is they still affect video games regardless if their importance is minimal. Their voices are heard often by the people who do make the decisions, and then we get situations where Sony is now censoring shit worse than Nintendo. Or I have to import games like DOA Xtreme 3 from Japan, even though the game is pretty harmless, and previous entries in the series actually sold more in the west than they did in Japan.

As far as Pitchford is concerned, that asshole kinda just makes me not care about Borderlands 3, and I'm probably not buying it. I liked 1 and 2, but those days are behind me now that I know what a scumbag profits off them.

No matter what he's done since I just can't hate Molyneux. The guy made Dungeon Keeper for fucksakes. Really he just needed to keep his mouth shut more often, especially in front of journalists. Mind you, when you find out that he essentially entered the game industry by lying his tits off the whole thing makes a lot more sense.

The "wall" between this place and ResetEra and sensitivities leading to "illegal" subjects is the worst of anything regarding ResetEra. I don't mind people being freakos and freak out or acting like assholes, I mind that it is a rule to accept and concede that behavior or get banned if you don't.

As for people in the industry I rule out Anita. She's some casual undergraduate fool with a chip on her shoulder about men, using "gaming" as an avenue because it's the least combatitive, youngest industry next to movies and music where there's less of a pedestal to step up on with her and her experience.

Here's my personal shitlist that pertain to the actual creation or playing of video games:

1. Mac Walters.
Reason: Fire this hackjob already. He didn't save Andromeda. LOOK AT IT. He ruined the greatest IP in video-games by becoming the guy in charge.

2. Shinobi-whatever.
Reason: Paid shill who runs ResetEra, who is friends with the spineless asshats at BioWare and who lies to everyone about the quality of what they do in order to suck up.

3. John Riccitello.
Reason: I will commend him for being good at what he does but ultimately he is the quintessential "We make games to make money" fucker, and he deliberately wormed BioWare into an aquisition by EA, and continued to pre-maturely annouonce them doing a Star Wars MMO to shareholders and promising to bolster sales for Mass Effect 3 by making it "more exciting". I'm glad he was MeToo'd.

4. Neil Druckmann, sometimes.
Reason: Obviously a writer who knows what writing is about, however largely the successes attributed to his work came from Bruce Straley and their Cinematic designer who wrote the dramatic structure for the plot. Uncharted 4's co-writing by Neil and Josh Scherr just proved what an undoing of Naughty Dog "forcing out" Amy Hennig was. I tried replaying that game and I can't stand its fucking Gone Home indie-tone of prose. This guy is now the second-in-charge of the company because of his executive/writing status on Last of Us. Bruce Straley left and another co-director left. Neil has a black/white profile image, he's pro-censorship, promotes the Era culture of NeoGAF's last days and now ResetEra. He gets offended someone said he "looked evil" and "humbly" gave Amy Hennig thanks when everyone knows the ego-battle between the two is why she felt forced to abandon the company. But I concede he probably makes great creative decisions and has defended the stances against over-focus-testing and slammed apologeticism about writing bad endings for games. So only sometimes. I do think TLoU2 will piggyback off the actual success of TLoU1 and devolve into message-fiction and LGBTQ+++ propaganda.

Why do I have a problem with this?........ Well, I don't like most of them. Mainly because they are all the same style of game (Heavy narrative, story driven, third person).

People act like everyone loves those kinds of games and they always win the most awards. It's really frustrating sometimes.

  • Bethesda.
    • They release some of the most broken games to ever be published and it took people until Fallout 76 for everyone to finally see them as the hacks they really are. Are their games fun once they're patched? Absolutely. Maybe they should try releasing a game that doesn't break in half at launch.
  • EA.
    • Self-explanatory.
  • Ubisoft post-2010.
    • Everything they're released has been unremitting dog shit. And I'll never forgive them for what they did to Splinter Cell. Fuck 'em.
  • Square Enix.

    • One of the worst influences on the industry as a whole. His focus on cinematic experiences and fourth wall breaking gimmicks have devolved gaming into a cesspool of "movie like" pablum. He's also one of the worst storytellers in any medium. "Oh, Metal Gear Solid 2 is so prescient. It predicted the future." Yeah, but Deus Ex did it first and did it better. Fuck him and fuck Metal Gear.
  • Casey Hudson.
    • For creating one of the best space operas in existence? Thank you. And for subsequently destroying said space opera and removing any semblance of role playing out of it? Fuck you very much.
  • Geoff Keighley.
    • One of the worst "journalists" in existence. His constant boot licking and blatant conflicts of interest make one of the worst individuals on the industry.
  • Anita Sarkeesian.
    • The Jack Thompson of the 21st Century. At least Jack was upfront about his distaste for gaming instead of this conniving cunt trying to "save gaming" from the ills of toxicity.

You don't wanna give kudos to how he predicted this post-truth usage of Internet the way that affects pretty much all of us here? Looking at the dawn of the Internet in 2001 and predicting it's gonna cause people to segregate truths into small gated communities is a fucking brave and brilliant prediction to make, and not something Deus Ex does. Why does it earn points then and not him? FTR I also think even with the cutscenes the first 3/4 MGS games have good gameplay, even if they popularized the trend of developers spending their money on non-interactible cutscenes.

Fortunately they don't know Japanese and pc gaming is largely unaffected by this, either through ordering from Japan, Patreon projects or via mods. On PC you can find any game, from rape simulators to gay pride rhythm games.
Their decisions mostly affect console games which they want to turn into "sjw heaven". Cheaper and more effective than Conservative rating boards and Nintendo's censorship in the long run.

This was already a trend with fmv games and live actors but mgs innovation was that they finally used the best quality cgi rendered settings and set new standards for today's realistic looking games
