The downgrade is really gross. Anyway, the good version of this game will be playable on PC or next-gen consoles. If you mean to play it on a PS4 or XBOX X , just don't.

I'm kinda meh about it to be honest. It felt like it was edited down too much. It's hard to make any kind of judgement about the gameplay from that. Seeing as how that's likely the last bit of "longform" gameplay we'll see before launch I'll probably end up waiting until post-release to pick it up now.

For starters...no...just no...I'm on PC, I'd buy it on GOG and wouldnt go camping anywhere. Even if I wasn't I'd order it online. Who sits outside a shop for 18 hours in 2019? And no...really...I found that underwhelming as fuck. I can see why all the journalists were saying they weren't impressed because I honestly was not impressed.

The decision to turn the 15-minute gameplay demo into a collection of snippets was not very wise. It makes for the kind of jittery truncated experience that showing continuous segments of a sidequest would perhaps avoid.

The world seemed very lively, varied and interesting, but also less polished than last year's. In particular, the animations stroke me as sometimes stiff. Overall, the graphics did look a step down, but let's wait for info on the platform/specs/ RTX on or off/ before making a final call.

Were some of you honestly expecting the footage and screens from the PC version to be representative of the experience on PS4 & XB1? Seriously?

A really bad temporal anti-aliasing implementation. There's the telltale ghosting all over the place...more than is usual infact.
