Twitch streamer banned over “sexually suggestive” Chun-Li cosplay.

Art streamer ‘quqco’ was streaming on September 15 cosplaying Chun-Li from Street Fighter while chatting with her viewers. However, after she signed off for the day, she was hit with a suspension for “sexually suggestive content” on stream.

“I just got banned for wearing a Chun-Li cosplay,” said the art streamer on Twitter, posting a screenshot of the email she received from Twitch.

She was banned for three days, and had a Community Guidelines strike placed against her account.

tbh im utterly sick of the hyper sexualization of social media so this doesnt bother me. im ok with twitch solely being for gaming and the 12 year olds who watch game streams. if they want to ban thots then good for them.

yea shes “fully clothed” but the outfit shows right up to her pelvic region

Is there anything in the twitch TOS against showing upper thighs? That's all I can think of.

I know there was that crackdown against shirtless streaming starting a couple years ago so this wouldn't surprise me.

I imagine cosplay or not you still have to abide by community guidelines with what your wearing. I obviously dont care but its their platform.

I wonder if Twitch's guidelines state that you can't show leg at all? Feels like the puritanical years all over again!

"Oh my god, a leg? Drive this unpure woman out at once!"

They're just virtue-signaling with these bans, nothing more. Oddly enough, it's lads like us they're virtue-signaling to. 'Ya know, the ones who call them out on their bias for thot streamers and turning it into Pornhub Lite.

Don't fall for it, boys. Don't fall for it.

* Dressing like Chun-Li doesn't make you a thot. From that pic the girl doesn't have enough thigh to expose much. That disappoints me.

Yeah, lets tell women what they can, and cannot wear, that's totally progressive of you. Fucking SJWs.

Meanwhile in Europe there are a nude women in TV commercials and on billboards....oh wait, that was ten years ago, now its all burkas all the time baby!!

The war on the female figure is starting to heat up.

Honestly, this is nothing compared to some other popular twitch thots, and they get away with murder. So there seems to be some inconsistency (I guess she is not big enough to get away with certain things).

Although, I am tired of this cosplay excuse; you are not a game, you are a real person. Cosplaying a video game character in the real world equates to looking sexy and skimpy outfits most of the time, and baiting adolescents into watching your stream (and cucks). When I was 5 I could tell Chun Li was thicc in SSF2, let's not act oblivious to the reality.

Twitch at times has become a good Christian kids first porno.

Why is this a bad thing? Why are people so against women making money off of their bodies?

She knows what she is doing. If my memory serves me right (LSF clips, I might add lol), she has worn that cosplay before and "accidently" shown her underwear(the horror, I know). Wouldn't surprise me if she got told to not wear it again and chose to forget the warning.
Either way, there is way worse that gets ignored in the hellhole called "just cringingchatting" section.

Twitch is a weird one. They have definitely been doing things to virtue-signal to SJWs but I don't think these bans are one of them. A lot of people (a lot of non-SJWs) have been bringing up their favortism for female streamers who basically wear almost nothing and don't do much but sit around in skimpy clothes and yet get partnered way faster, and get away with violations male streamers would get banned for on the spot. Especially if those same girls bring in tons of money for them.

They've done this shit in the past but those were smaller partnered or non-partnered female streamers who didn't really violate TOS, just so they could act like they were enforcing TOS. But when they let porn play on Ninja's channel (and Ninja probably leaving Twitch because of how they favor skimpy female streamers and don't enforce TOS on them that much), they got a lot of kickback and these bans now seem like virtue-signaling to shut the complaints up.

Not gonna work tho; they'll bring this girl back in a few days just like with Amouranth. Then they go back to violating TOS by doing and saying stuff they clearly shouldn't and get off with a slap on the wrist or no punishment at all. It's the Twitch way.

It's not about that dude. It's about Twitch having double standards for partnered females violating TOS but banning non-partnered people and male streamers (regardless of status) for those same things (and in a lot of cases, not ACTUALLY violating TOS). Plus, Twitch used to be about the games and gamers; people got a right to be upset if it's turning into Charatube.

There's always alternatives like Mixer, but it's about the principal of the matter. These girls can use their bodies to make as much cash as they want but if they do something violating TOS, they shouldn't be above the law. They are, that's the problem.

Then don't ban the men either. Let people wear whatever they want as long as no privates are showing. I basically don't understand why people are being banned for anything that isn't illegal.

I clicked on her stream whilst browsing Twitch because the Chun-Lee cosplay caught my eye, she literally got banned one minute into me watching. :messenger_grinning_smiling: Pretty crazy odds.

Their rules are all over the place. Just a day ago I saw a Maid Cafe stream where they pranced around in skimpy outfits........ Didn't get banned.

Then the problem becomes: why are men and women dressing lewdly on a platform kids can easily access. It'll be the same shit as with Youtube, you're gonna get mass purges. They'd have to lock the lewd stuff behind paywalls 'cuz we all know kids are poor and don't have any money.

Meanwhile, Amouranth wears shorts hiked up her asshole and a bra on a daily basis and it's not an issue. Hell, she straight up showed her vagina the other day and got banned for a shorter amount of time than this girl.

Twitch is fucking retarded.
