It doesn't have gyro!?It's biggest widespread issue is the lack of a gyroscope.

I've tried working on my own controllers...I don't have all the tools needed for full featured maintenance though. Mainly I lack a soldering kit. I did take the Xbox One Project Scorpio edition controller apart to try and fix the issue. I ended up making it worse...oh well.
I think the biggest issue is the goddamned price.
the same DS4 that has low quality analogue sticks covers, battery issues after a few years and drifting issues in v2 controllers? It is almost 4 times more expensive as the best pro controller ever. DS4.
With the existence of the xbox one s, elite v1 and switch pro controller. The DS4 isnt even second best.It is almost 4 times more expensive as the best pro controller ever. DS4.
It has a gyroscope so it beats all of those by default in my opinion. With the existence of the xbox one s, elite v1 and switch pro controller. The DS4 isnt even second best.
it would. It has a gyroscope so it beats all of those by default in my opinion.
Most modern games dont generally support gyro so thats hardly a factor imo (also the switch pro controller does have gyro)It has a gyroscope so it beats all of those by default in my opinion.

I never had an xbox of any generation fail on me. Playstation however? Please don't get me started...... The only
sony console that didn't have problems in my case, as the original Playstation.......
Not sure if seriousI have an elite ctrl and I still think ps4 ctrl is better built and just better overall...
My god, you're a genius. Brb gonna try it.I bought one on release day, and have been really putting it through its paces between Rocket League and CoD MW. No problems as yet, love the quality, and the hair-trigger locks for semi-autos are pure .
I bought the two-year warranty, so the total cost was almost the cost of a fucking console but, as of now, no regerts.

Let me know what you think. The FAL with those triggers is straight murder.Brb gonna try it.
This is a huge bummer. Why have controllers gotten so crappy this generation?
I'd happily sink more money into a controller if I knew it would last me. I have several arcade sticks around my house as a testament to that.
But I'm not going to waste money and frustration on an overpriced controller that can't function for more than a few years.
I've had issues both with Nintendo and with Sony controllers this gen. Maybe I need to get an X1 controller with one of those converter USB things.I have like 8 xbox one controllers, and only had issues with one.
Statistically speaking, they are solid.

I'd pay good money for a brushed aluminum controller that can be opened and repaired. The problem with the dualshock 4 and Joycon controllers is they're so crammed with components that it's a fool's errand to fix them yourself (IMO).I have a switch and although its working fine, the whole console feels incredible cheap.
DS4 as previous sony joysticks are too unreliable as well. A friend of mine that has ps4 -and by no means its a hardcode gamer, barely uses it- had many issues with it, specially with the rubber of the sticks cracking.
Anyways, i have both a MBP and a surgace book 2 and the quality of those devices compared to gaming gadgets is unbelievable.
Not that im asking for magnesium/alum, but at least premium plastic.
I have no sympathy for people who buy (pre-order) 1st gen tech
It works 95% of the time. Just not worth the hassle.
The first two problems wouldn’t be the controllers fault but firmware from said hardware not supporting the controller no?,i bougth it day 1 and returned it day 2
connecting between several devices is a bitch
didnt work with ipad pro 11inch xbox one s controller does work
didnt work with mayflash adapter xbox one s controller does work
no removable battery.
shame controller felt premium as fuck
I'd love to hear the details on this.
Damn it!Terrible click bait video first of all.
But already a thread.
Xbox Elite 2 controller is having widespread issues
https://www.windowscentral.com/xbox-elite-controller-series-2-buyers-report-widespread-issues I knew this was gonna happen. Come on man why is this so hard? Exactly why I said I would wait a few months. Seems it didnt even take 1 month.www.neogaf.com
It's a controller i wrote about not your mother. The first two problems wouldn’t be the controllers fault but firmware from said hardware not supporting the controller no?,
Third problem is you couldn’t read it came with a charging pad for the controller. Don’t see how any of the problems you have experienced are the controllers fault.
I wish i could use it on multiple consoles just as easy as you sayI have it from day 1 and use it every day on the xbox and pc with no problems.
On xbox i use it wireless and on pc wired just i did when i used the elite 1.I wish i could use it on multiple consoles just as easy as you say
Quick someone message Phil the good guy spencer!Unfortunately MS is not aware of that issue.
I mainly use it on PC.Too bad there aren't any good games on console or I'd get one.
