They still removed the game from the GOTY list. This is not something a mod can decide.

Is it correct that Death Stranding has more "perfect" scores from reviewers than any other game from 2019?
If so then surely this game must be at least considered in the GOTY discussion?
From Metacritic, you have 18 scores that are 100/100.
A further 10 that are 95 to 99.
Then 27 between 90 and 94.
So from 104 critics you have 55 giving the game 9/10 at least.
That puts it up there in the GOTY discussion regardless of personal preference.
There HAS to be more to this.
Don't see what harm it does to have a game that was obviously well reviewed and that obviously has quite the fandom on your shortlist.

I judged the game on it's merits and it's a masterpiece of a game despite whatever flaws. IGN are acting straight up scummy!

Kinda reminds me of when people would dismiss genuinely solid Halo / Forza scores claiming "no it's completely shit the reviewers were all paid off". I mean, one or two reviews, sure, but when you have 10 or more scores in the 9/10 range from reputable journos, it's at least worth giving it a second look.
I remember the time with the 850$ review bags which included a consoel, a game and a helmet? And how these "critics" went on social media being so fucking happy about it. Of course people will think they are paid off.

Game is even below dark souls on twitch now. It's on spot 55 now. Basically complete and utter failure.
It dropped quicker then any other game on there.

Even age of empire 2 de edition is doing better and that's a remake of a remake.

Because it is a SP game? On peak times it had more viewers then game slike Red Dead Redemption 2. The game is over a month old by now. Of course it is low on Twitch

There are lots single player games above it that are way older. So that's no excuse.
The game has been a colossal let down. That's why it dropped off.
Every reviewer was bribed as we know because they got the game early and had to sign something with the company as that one company didn't wanted to do it they bailed on the review entirely.
Sorry but anybody that gets early access towards games for reviews are basically on a pay roll.
If the game was so good, it would have been far above games like daylight / dark souls / zelda as they are older. Yet no dice.
Spot 55 is pathetic. The game dropped faster than lightning.

Then you have not played the game obviously so you have no idea what you're saying because you are saying the exact same thing all the people who disliked the game before it even came out, and then even more said on its launch day. It's the same knee jerk mindless thoughtless remark they all made also.
And if you did actually play it yourself then you didn't play it very much because at chapter 3 the game really opens up and so does its world.
I'm playing it and rather enjoy its oddness. Nice to see a aaa game be different instead bland and generic. It's not perfect but it's way better than most of the big budget games this year.

And again I have the complete different opinion if Death Stranding have another name behind it then it should not even be called divisive because most will praise it like one of the best games in 2019.
But at the end this materpiece only exists due Kojima.
