This is clearly a result of having the scale the game back and optimizing it to run on console. But either way the game looks fantastic.

Looking forward to this. Tshushima was an important locale during the Russo-Japanese war and it's high-time a game delved into it. Those ghostly denizens who wander the landscape forever more will prove irresistible to put out of their purgatorial misery.

Sometimes. There's really no excuse for a PS4 game coded to PS4 and PS4 only from the very beginning, from a team with experience on the platform though.

The shadows are flickering and are super blocky, I don't know about the trees, but the shadow quality has been dialed back a lot compared to the 2018 gameplay demo... at least it looks like it in this teaser. I mean, falling leaves were casting shadows in the 2018 demo... don't see this happening here with shadow quality that low.

Am still looking forward to this game. It's my most anticipated game of 2020.

I think the audience for the TGA's is orders of magnitude bigger than state of play so makes sense from that perspective.
