Do they need just a stornger hybrid with their first party titles, or do they need to reinvent again, given that a lot of these titles might now be considered portable due to Stadia - while xCloud and PSNow support a premium local experience with hardware and aiming for a slightly reduced on-the-move streaming support option.
It's kinda weird that Xbox and Playstation have gone for a downscale option, and the Switch is more of an upscale model - where mobile/platform is the primary platform with the option to 'supercharge' the game while docked, compared to Sony and MS where the local option is the premium and the portable/mobile option the compromise (bearing in mind wifi/4/5G requirements).
I'm not even sure what's possible with mobile chipsets these days, are we talking about current tech being able to run CP2077 for example (without as many compromises as W3 on Switch?).
