Unfortunately he did one specific info drop that turn out to be incorrect. Whether he got wrong info or not he chose to disappear for over a month instead of responding.

Pretty sure it was HeisenbergFX4 HeisenbergFX4 that mod of war said that about, but Tommy wasn't banned from the thread unlike camefromnearfuture so that's something I guess.

Guess I feel let down by believing him and am still butt hurt lol

Anyway the 12th is only a few weeks away so everything in this thread will either be confirmed are proved bs. At least for ps5 anyway.

No I was paying attention during the back and forth, mod of war said tht about Tommy. Everyone was pushing for him to get vetted and then mod of war responded with what I mentioned. Either way we shall see Itll ve funny if lost of what he says turns out true.

I thought the same, which looks like a speaker / subwoofer, but I like similar PC cases, so I loved the design.

It's even more interesting when you think about the cooling system.

I think this guy is legit Tommy Fisher Tommy Fisher , who is in his right mind would post something like this "PSM [2]", what does it mean ? 2 sku's, dual GPU ?

It think he thinks there has been only one PS Meeting (2013). But to be honest they've been calling these events PS Meeting at least since 2011, so there's been 3 of them since then. We'll see who's right and wrong in a couple of days.

I agree but this "[2]" must be something deeper, box shape (2 boxe's - consoles), APU shape (dual gpu), aren't insiders suppose to post crypted sh!t, he got me @@ up :messenger_tears_of_joy:

Yes. Same design with less L3 cache (small IPC hit) and lower clocks. Jaguar had no L3 cache at all, so even 8MB is a huge step forward for consoles.

No way am I going to go all digital. For starters, I don't have a amazing 1gb download, and am lucky to get 6mbps download in peak hours. And most people dont have super fast internet. Secondly, I can buy second hand or games on disc cheaper than they are in the digital store. Some games are $50 dearer to download than buy on disc.
And thirdly, I like the idea of not having to worry about MS banning my console because of something they dont like and losing my entire games catalog. And I can lend them to people or sell them.

I'm not the only one either, ands one of the reasons Sony smashed MS at the begining of this gen.

I think it's always helpful to look at it as the Xbox division and Playstation division. The difference being that Xbox don't necessarily get to tap into the MS coffers. And equally, Playstation don't get to tap into profit generated from other divisions within the business.

You're right that, if Microsoft see it as a worthwhile investment, they are free to invest. However I'd argue that their investment in Xbox is their commitment to the gaming industry. It would need to be an exceptional opportunity for Microsoft to go even harder again.

I disagree with the notion that Xbox get 'whatever they need'. It's quite clear that they operate within a budget. And if you're making business and ROI decisions on the gaming division, Xbox simply does not have the same profitability or importance within Microsoft, as it does for Playstation within Sony. What I mean by that, is Sony have more to lose/gain with Playstation than Microsoft do with Xbox. So when it comes to business wide investment decisions, I don't think it's rational to believe that MS will just do whatever it takes to win. They've not done that to date, and I don't see any reason that they would invest significantly more than Sony at this stage.

Something else to point out is that Playstation is technically a subsidiary, which functions differently from the typical corporate division.
