I’ll destroy anyone at Uno.
Just saying.
Yeah, I saw you playing it today. Can’t be worse than me though I have almost 300 hours in Switch Fortnite because it groups you with mobile users and other switch users so no one can really build and you can actually win and feel good about yourself.
I tried to play on PC once after a win and died within seconds to someone to build a tower within 2.5 seconds.
Yeah, I saw you playing it today.
My reaction:
No. I downloaded the demo, but never played it. I was all set on buying it, but then I got put off by people saying it doesn’t have much of a story. It’s $89.99 here and I think that’s a bit much for a thin story. Might pick it up on a sale, though.Though I’ve been trying to set multiplayer games aside to get through all of these RPGs. Have you played Octopath yet I didn’t see it on your history ?

The chillness of the Switch version is an odd accidental feature. Even with skill based matchmaking introduced across all versions, it’s still more laid back, which pairs really well with the handheld nature, imo. It’s where I go when I want to play Fort, but not be ultra competitive about it.
Season 2 is absolutely fantastic, but maybe that’s a story best served for the OT.
Wasn’t this rumored to be coming out early in this year? This could be a good sign of that.
Meh, I like to think we have a small community in this thread we can chat about whatever pertaining to the switch and what we play. I haven't actually played any matches in season 2 yet. Are there any big changes? I just bought the battle pass and logged off. I want the deadpool skin.

Aaah bummer. I love this game so muchDarkwood is on sale.. for those that haven't played it get it. It's great. A little challenging.
I don't own it sorry man! I might pick it up this weekend though just to get wrecked by you.
Yes sir. AcesDo you mean Aces?
At one point I wanted to get Aces but totally forgot about it.
Hmmmmm....all this talk makes me want to get it again.Yes sir. Aces
I am a regional champion in this game. So you up for a challenge?Hmmmmm....all this talk makes me want to get it again.
Let me get it try first before I get embarrassed by a champion...lolI am a regional champion in this game. So you up for a challenge?
Oh hell no, I don't want you to hate the game xDLet me get it try first before I get embarrassed by a champion...lol
You want me to make me cry.
Yeah it can look complicated but only needs couple of games till you get the hang of itI’ll be honest, I downloaded the Mario Tennis demo and found it really complicated. So many different controls to remember for the special moves. It scared me off of buying it. I’m sure, with dedication it is doable, but I wasn’t ready for the commitment at the time, lol.
It's pretty easy to get the hang of, but there's a surprising level of depth. I had no idea Fortnite on Switch only matched you with Mobile and Switch users. After only playing the PC and XB1 versions, I've become the Fallon Fox of Fortnite
I know that used to be the case, but I believe that changed last season. By the end of Chapter 2 Season 1, I got all the way up to level 402, and at that point I was sometimes fighting against people doing build battle maneuvers that are seemingly flat out impossible with a controller...especially on Switch or Mobile.
Speaking of which, I've burned through three Pro Controllers on the Switch, mostly playing Fortnite. If anyone wants to save their Pro Controllers from the literal grind their control stick design goes through with extended play, I highly recommend buying some of this and wrapping some around the sticks underneath the thumbpad. It'll save you having to buy another controller far too soon.

I'm going to fuck your island up. Have they killed off Isabel? Because if not, she's the first to go when I visit. This is still such a mess though. It feels like the kid eating crayons has graduated to just jamming them up his nose, and we’re supposed to offer congratulations.
This... isn’t a competitive game. I just don’t see the problem with giving people ownership over their data, unless there’s going to be some kind of marketplace where players can sell items to each other for in-game currency. Even then, games of that nature, or competitively played ones manage fine on other platforms.
If an individual wants to ruin the experience for themselves, and clone items with save scumming, let them. Better than ruining it for all of us?
They can’t kill her. She’s the face of the game with the prick NookI'm going to fuck your island up. Have they killed off Isabel? Because if not, she's the first to go when I visit.
Hopefully Nintendo has some solution relatively quickly. The no cloud saves was one thing, but not being able to even transfer the save is just odd. As others have mentioned, Animal Crossing isn’t a competitive game. Why is Animal Crossing so special? Maybe they’re worried about hacked islands and exploits? I don’t know.Animal Crossing: New Horizons Direct No Longer Mentions One-Time-Only Save Data Recovery

It's been hot second since I've played Aces. Such a good game, I should really start playing it again.Aaah bummer. I love this game so much
Would also be fun making little GAF tournaments with the fam
Month after month RingFit appears to be a sleeper hit. I hope Nintendo has plans for a sequel (using the same ring con) and/or other titles that use it, like a proper WarioWare. Honestly I think it's a must-buy for the system. You can crank the difficulty down if you aren't interested in the fitness aspects and it's still a fun arcade-like experience. Pretty lengthy game, too (I'm on map 5 with no end in sight, and I'm still unlocking new functions)
Also not to be impatient Nintendo but... uh... where's my ARMS 2?
Exploits in previous games have led people to even buy and sell in-game items and money online. The resources in the game aren't finite but the game is designed with a certain economic balance that gets thrown out of the window when there's exploits and shit, since there are open trade possibilities between any player, so there is a live economy.Hopefully Nintendo has some solution relatively quickly. I just want you o be able to move my island between my Switches.
The design of the characters is so charming, I wouldn't mind if they fleshed out the world more with a SP story mode.I really enjoyed Arms as well. I wish they had a story move though. Great game.
I’m more of a single player and don't really enjoy playing directly against players online most of the time , I know there is a story mode ( salmon run? ) but with the focus being mainly multiplayer not my thing. I do realize I’m probably in the minority but it is what it is.I’m mildly disappointed with the lack of splatoon love in this thread
