It will sounds like ass and everyone in party chat is going to want to murder them. For the cost of the controller there is no way that is a high quality microphone.

Didn't realize it at first, but yeah no 3.5mm jack is going to be a problem for me. At least 90% of my PlayStation 4 time has been with my wired headphones plugged into the controller jack. Sure there is wireless headsets but they're typically a) proprietary and b) only last a few hours.

Yeh I can see this being a big problem for me if they don't include a USB C 3.5mm adapter (I assume the controller will be USB C) in the box.

Whenever my wireless headphones run out of battery I just plug them in to the 3.5mm jack and carry on.

Sat Reciever and remote, Wii , Wii U (among other tech stuff), that is white, all have started to turn yellow.

Love the color scheme. Love the shape overall. I'm very, very concerned about that ridge that runs around the midway point of the "handles." Looks like a spot for dirt and grime to accumulate as well as being uncomfortable on the fingertips. We'll see, though.

It is, everyone that bought a headset (3rd party or Sony/PlayStation's own) is now useless.
I'd rather wear a headset with a mic closer to my mouth which I can decoupled than have it build into the joypad itself.
Funny story I'm buying a HyperX Cloud Mix soon, though I wonder if you could use Bluetooth headsets and that would automatically disable the build-in one?

Getting real strong Vita vibes from this angle and that was the greatest dpad ever - even better than the GB Micro and that takes some doing. The finish looks spectacular on the white parts, black parts not so much.
