Makes sense. The event is pre recorded so once it was put together and devs were involved to supply the footage, it was in Sony's hands till they decide to stream it. That's how they could get away with keeping devs in the dark on the exact date.

It is white, There was just some shadowing effect to make it look dark. Silhouette-ish. But maybe the white controller reveal was an alternative color? Or I wonder if the box will be the inverted colors.

Also hope this, I'm even holding out hope for some sort of VR-controller like touch-grip that would free up L1 and L2 for something other than aiming weapons and grenades. I'd only want to see it used for "holding" things though, tapping a touch control thingie to fire would be poo.

It would be an awesome idea if they start the presentation by turning on the console, showing the boot up, going through the UI, and all of the game applications they're showing are already installed. Then the presentation would go from game to game using the suspend state feature to show off 5-7 mins of pure gameplay for each title.
Then for the games that are not playable yet, they can switch to the video column and click on the trailers.
That's how I would do it. 3 birds with one stone: shows off console, shows UI, and shows ACTUAL gameplay running live on PS5.

Christ, did you see the video from a guy that went to one of those events? I can link you if not, they held it on the first floor of a building that wasn't build to hold water and the film they showed on the projector was pirated

When MS announced their first party games reveal for July, I had a sneaking suspicion that Sony might get in there first. It left a big gap just asking to be filled.
