Thats super fake. If you were a set designer you'd be fired for placing two spotlights aimed at nothing shining directly into the camera, and obstructing the screen.
Plus if you look at the floor you will see 3 lights reflected, however the biggest reflection in the middle comes from nowhere, as the original content of the screen was replaced with a fake ps5
Yeah the awkward lighting is always the first giveaway of a fake picture such as this.

Bo my man i have really enjoyed your posts when u speak u dont b s and just try to tell it how u see and with sense and I can respect that and your a PlayStation fan so thats always a plus lol
Also special shout out to Bgs

Thanks a lot, bro, really glad I can entertain and provide something useful. Actually I came here barely understanding shit, only few generic basics. But if you follow this thread post by post and try your best to read thoroughly you'll pretty much understand and get a lot of details and many of the great members around here have been so much generous with their posts and knowledge.

Of course not everyone is interested in reading everything, and probably don't have the time to do so, but if you do your best you'll really understand many things in how those machines and even PC's in general work. I'm just an Arabic Teacher, but teachers have some kinda prowess in explaining things :lollipop_tears_of_joy: .

Jokes and memes are not derailing, in my opinion, thrown to the mix, they help cool the mood and ease up the tension as some discussions can get a bit heated. Joking around of course helps as well to aid to acceptance from both sides.

The funny parade we made brought a good mood in the thread, although it was excessive at some points:lollipop_tears_of_joy:. Sorry for the mess and I think I'll sleep now after being awake for around 34 hours on PC :lollipop_anxious_sweat: And they say why I don't use OLED's:lollipop_tears_of_joy:

Great to know. I honestly expected the worst with Tim Dog and was ready for a lot of lies and damage control. Just a very closed mindset. Glad how it turned out.
Same here.... i think they understand its up to them rather or not to lie....he saw that lying would have hurt him of anything... he kept it honest and clear and I respect him for it......hopefully I could get @dark10 to come and discuss gaming as well

This was just posted. Looks like they won't delay

I don't think they'll delay the event. Just like when the unfortunate Orlando's mass shooting happened in 2016 they still did their E3 conference. They mentioned it during the conference and showed their support for the victims and their families and kept going according to what was planned, so I believe something similar can be done

Was this posted?

The picture is definitely doctored in some way.

The two lens flares are not only perfectly identical down to the smallest detail (which is very unlikely), but they seem to come from some stock library picture. I could find the same identical lens flare in a couple stock images (although I don't have the original with transparency):

Screenshot-2020-03-23-12.00.29.png

Notice in particular the two light dots at the top encased in a very specific set of three rays, one larger with overlapping at the top, a very thin one in the middle and a set of two parting ways just above the dots. The same identical pattern is in both the light rays in the PS5 image, which means the two spotlights were added later through 2D editing software. In the PS5 picture the spotlight was slightly warped vertically, but it's very obviously the same asset.

Thanks for sharing. I just want to put this out there and before I say this, just understand that I am a huge Playstation fan and I am so hyped for the PS5 (HYPE TRAIN!!!) but I really don't trust Moore's Law is Dead, along with Foxy and Tidux. Here are some of the reasons why:

In this video Tom (Moore'sLawisDead) did a section on the PS5 leaks and said he's been hearing stuff from his "sources", one of which was that the PS5 CPU will have some sort of custom unified cache, a feature which is not on Zen 2 CPU's but will be on Zen 3 architecture and then he stated that he is not saying PS5 is Zen 3 but it will have a Zen 3 feature. Problem is, this was first reported by RedGamingTech weeks ago who for all his faults tries his best to be objective and fair IMHO. RedGamingTech also stated that he is not saying PS5 is Zen 3 but that it will have a custom feature which will also be featured on Zen 3. It's clear to me that Tom heard this from RedGamingTech's video and passed it off in his video as some sort of inside info he has heard, if you are saying he is not then another issue arises, why not at least give RedGamingTech some credit for the information you took from his video!

RedGamingTech was also the first one to report that the PS5 GPU will have RDNA 3 features, he did this a month or two ago and no one even noticed, then recently Tidux tweeted that the PS5 will have RDNA 3 features, again passing it off like it was some sort of inside info, if he wasn't then as I stated before, at least give RedGamingTech the credit.

And our good pal FOXY! I can go through the numurous examples of times he has recycled information which was already known and pass it off like he was some sort of insider, but hey! don't call him an insider! he never claimed to be one! lol although as far as I know he was the only one who reported that the PS5 will be "whisper quiet" in operation months before the Cerny talk and some others much later have mentioned this too.

Even today, Foxy start tweeting cryptic stuff about the PS5 console design, you can check his twitter, but it was clear he just recycled the Reddit post which was made yesterday about some factory insider leaking details about the PS5 design which seemed to be very legit btw.

Back to Tom, he stated in another video that he had heard from an inside "source" that Aloy in HZD 2 will have a higher polygon/triangle count than all the characters and monsters in the previous game combined, however first person to report this was Foxy as far as I am aware but I also saw someone on this thread state that the HZD developer tweeted that nugget of information but later removed it. Regardless, Tom just recycled what Foxy said and passed it off as "inside info" and whats funny is he even replied to the exact tweet which Foxy states the information about HZD 2. So much for being subtle.

What's sad is, RedGamingTech has a small bias towards PC and Xbox IMO but he does his best to give out legit information and he tried to be objective, and he has done a great job in leaking PS5 technical details about the CPU and GPU, heck! he even crushed the rumours about the PS5 having overheating issues! And everyone else just seems to recycling a lot of his information without giving credit.

Sorry for my long post and rant! dam I've never written a post this long as well! @thicc_girls_are_teh_best would be proud! miss you dude!

I have a question. All these devs telling numerous journalists that the ps5 is this amazing console, and yet Digital Foundry has heard no such thing.

the only thing they got from devs was that its cpu was being downclocked in order to run the gpu at 2.23 ghz.

you would think DF of all people would have devs feeding them these impressions.

If you still believe in DF... well, I respect that. But lately, they're not the most trustworthy source, for me at least. I tend to believe developers, not pixel counters. That's just my opinion, of course.

Nothing stops "world events" from happening if those bad things occur outside of the USA. I don't want to start on politics, just an observation.

Exactly. Every single day, there is something bad happening, somewhere in the world. So according to this logic, we will postpone announcements/reveals ad infinitum, waiting for the world to calm down. It will not happen.

There is always a reason not to have events. Thousands of people are starving every day, children running on landmines, civil wars, natural catastrophies. Its all happening right now. Did we consider delaying anything? No. Just because this is happening in america should not lead to world wide events being canceled. America is not the world and this is a very american problem. Its the typical american hype machine. A a few days everyone is acting like they care a lot but then nothing gets actually done about it. Racism and the murder of minorities for unfounded reasons is nothing new over there. Its disgusting and its a huge failure that they cant seem to get rid of this extremely racist mindset of some people. Or at least protect their citizens from violence.

Still, I see that as an american problem. I guess my problem is that I've grown numb to their problems. It happens all the time and the media is all over it in this very american way and everyone pretends to care, but nothing ever happens. Guns are still all over the place, parts of the police force is still racist, health care is still a mess. So why should I even begin to care at this point?

Sorry if all of this sounds really harsh, but again, I've seen this soooooo many times now. It never ever changes. Its the same thing every god damn time. But somehow we (from outside the US) are supposed to also pretend to care? Sorry, we have our own problems. Dont force your problems on us. Let the rest of the world move on and in this case, let us have some fun with a stupid video game event.

From an European standpoint, I share your sentiment of being fed up of the USA-centric world. But honestly, the issue at hand is not just a USA issue, unfortunately. It's accentuated there, that's for sure, but racism is an issue at global scale. But again, I agree that, in this particular case, things are going crazy in the USA, not in the world as a whole.

I don't have any camels, but one could be worth 500-1,000 Omani Rials or more ($1,300-2,600 USD). Might snatch one of those randomly grazing around.

Yup I noted the same things, red gaming did say all of that stuff first.

On the Aloy poly count discussion, I did click on that tweet and read it, then moved on so I do remember it. Dont think it was a figment of my imagination.

Which also looked a bit like a PS2 slim.
Well they are both rectangular boxes, I saw the resemblance due to the dot pattern mostly. To this day I still think the Xbox One S is the most beautiful console ever made, I don't have one myself, but I really like the minimal design. It's a shame Andrew Kim didn't work on the XSX, he moved to Apple.

the only thing that could come out of the ps5 event is positivity, and thats what we all need at a tough time like this. watching the spacex launch was amazing. i was so happy and proud of what humanity accomplished, only to check an hour later that americans are still rioting, looting and police are out of control, it completely ruined the mood.

we must leave the past behind and focus on rebuilding the strength within us to fight for equal rights, but as peaceful as possible. i want everyone, together, to enjoy each moment possible. there's too much hate around the world and violence isnt the answer, we are better than that.

seeing next gen games is as similar hype towards the spacex launch. we're so excited to see the future of gaming. and im excited to share that feeling to everyone here.

spread love not hate. positivity rules! <3
