I guess that's inevitable. We've been at 60 standard for a couple of generations and development costs have only continued to rise. Not saying I like it but I think EA is simply setting the trend that others will follow.

I think this is fine if the idea is that next gen games are simply going to cost more and 2K isn't just pulling a fast one to compensate for the likely lack of sales of the PS5 version.

As much as I'd love for games to continue to retail at $60, I wouldn't be surprised to see next gen games retail at $70.
