I applaud Nintendo for the clarity of their vision: Why bother when your fanbase is devoid of critical thinking? They actually left money on the table by not re-releasing the three games separately and at full price, mind you. Well, it’s not like they are not gonna jump on other occasions to better rip off their cult-like masochistic flock.
That‘s just Super Mario Allstars on Snes. Those are the games it came with and it’s only being added to the Nintendo online service. Mario World is already on That service. No snes super mario world on 2d collection either....
Just started up the SNES app and they added Super Mario All Stars to it.
Gonna feel damn good playing these with the Pro Controller
Try to update it. Mine is a fresh download because I just picked up a new Switch. Not seeing it (US East coast)
Well, playing the games on the system (and controller) that it was designed for is superior IMO but really you should be comparing the price to the cost on the VC. Mario 64 is $10, Galaxy is $20. Sunshine is not available on VC. So $30 for the VC games and another $30 for Sunshine on the Gamecube is $60.Avg prices, Mario 64 cart is $25 on ebay, Sunshune disc is $30, and Galaxy disc is $20, assuming you own all the consoles to play these on it's $75. Not being remasters sucks, but the convenience to play these on Switch for $60 is ok I guess lol. Everyone crying about it probably cried, and paid up anyways. I paid.
This was free, so was "Zelda Collector's Edition" on Gamecube. Desperate companies are the best to their fans. Gamecube era Nintendo needed all the sales they could find. This whole thing reminds me of this.
Low effort, barebones port. But sought after by collectors.
Since we know we aren't getting N64 games on NSO I am hoping we get Game Boy/Color/Advance.
3d world was always going to be a full priced port like NSMB.Should been the 2 Galaxy games and 3D World .

I wouldn't call playing on a N64 controller "superior" lol.
Why 'until March 31st'? Is the digital version be gone?

Mario Galaxy.... oh man. What a game! You're in for some good times.Owwww, I am in for Mario 64 alone. Never played the others so expecting a treat.
It's better on a XBOX One controller using emulation, otherwise N64 controller is the next best choice.Yeah opinions will vary but I prefer playing Mario 64 on the N64 controller.

Up on Best Buy as well.
Is there going the a digital version????
It's all relative. What if McDonald's charged $50 for a cheeseburger? Is it no biggie, because it's "only $50"?
The going price for a fast food burger isn't $50 though.
I preordered as soon I saw it was announced. After reading some of the details, I cancelled the preorder. The deal breaker was mandatory use of detached joycons for Mario Galaxy. What a lazy effort. I have the originals, I’ll stick with those.
I’m totally down for the Mario 3D World+ cause I never had a Wii U.
This gives me hope for Skyward Sword with traditional controls. You can use the Pro Controller with Galaxy
Super Mario Galaxy on Switch won’t require motion controls
The Switch Pro Controller is also supportedwww.polygon.com
It is. Only for co-op mode in SMG you'll need joy-cons (but still Switch Lite compatible).Im assuming this is Switch Lite compatible? that would be pretty silly if it wasnt.
Not sure how thatd even work since the game was built around motion controls entirely. This gives me hope for Skyward Sword with traditional controls.

ok. That fixes literally my biggest complaint. Now for my second biggest:can I invert the camera in Sunshine?
