I completely understand your point, but I’m really starting to think it is.

I don’t know if I’m getting older and more realist, or the people are getting worse, but it’s getting harder and harder for me to spend any amount of time around random people without complete disgust, and social and emotional burnout.

He knows his shit, insofar as much as someone should with his credentials. Problems occur when a bunch of randoms suffering from dunning kruger and cognitive dissonance think they know more than he does and can't express their feelings in a polite fashion. VFX isn't infallible, but that doesn't make the people sniping at him all the time credible in their knowledge and experience either. He then takes this grievance somehow as justification for acting belligerent himself. Everyone's shit stinks. Even his.

He apparently posted it, so it’s fair game, I guess?

His work history is much more impressive than the way he’s conducted himself. He’s been involved with everything from The Matrix to CG animated films.

I'm supposed to be working, but I'm getting distracted by watching this great, easy to understand Youtube series about the evolution of human communication from primitive hieroglyphs to modern electronic telecommunication. The way he narrarates the story makes the progression of that process of discovery very fascinating.

It's awesome how videos like this were available to watch as early as 2013. Youtubers since then have been upping their game quite substantially.
