I had the feeling they would be that way.

But for the digital version to be that price? Sounds sweet.

I have no interest in digital version though, but sounds like a nice deal for those who love that kind of thing.

Amazing price on that digital edition if it's a full fledged PS5 otherwise. It is right?

Series X looks very good up against the PS5, but Series S is a joke at this point. For $100 more, a digital PS5 is a no brainer in my opinion.

Its the same console, however you are stuck buying the digital only games on the PS Store for $70+ which is a reason why i would never buy a digital only console

$400 for Digital? Why the fuck would you buy Series S? 3x weaker for $100 difference. 10.84 for TFLOPS for $400? that's fucking insane!
Series S will play the Xbox One S version of games, while PS5 digital will have the same BC as the disc PS5.

Can't say I'm super enamoured with the pricing strategy. Feels a little like we are being pushed to an all digital future. Does a BR drive really cost a $100 dollar more? I seriously doubt it.

$400 for the Digital Edition is unreal. Don't get wrong the $600/$550 predictions were ridiculous, but this is amazing.

Xbox Series S might DOA. Why would you bother with it unless you don't intend to buy any games and just intend to survive on GamePass? Even then it looks really overpriced for what it is in comparison to a PS5.

The Series S will be a big seller when it gets discounted during the Holidays like the discless Xbox One.

That said, the discless PS5 is BY FAR the best value for money in gaming. Nothing comes close.

Great price points.
I'm having a dilemma on which to choose. Standard or DE version but I'll see closer to the day.
No pre-order info though?!

PS5 Pricing is really great. $399 is very aggressive, not a gimped ver like $299 Series S. $499 as toe to toe - thanks to the exclusives and loyal followers, it will do fine.

Now I'm wondering what else Microsoft would have in its sleeves? $299 for Series S and $399 for PS5... it would be a tough race. Maybe to include Gamepass for 6 month? All access model is very intriguing - and now sure how PS5's gamepass would work and how long it would take them to launch?

What time is it?
Will probably still get the disc version as it's makes importing games easier. Damn you, Yakuza.
