Gaf is not perfect. Gaf has members whose opinions I greatly disagree with. As a lifelong centrist, I think some political opinions on here are trash.
But Gaf does not ban me for expressing my own opinion. It does not ban me for arguing against the opinions that I disagree with.
Reset Era did do that. They banned me for simply hoping that compromise and reconciliation can be reached between women and transgender people.

I like that any opinion that isn't extreme-left is immediately considered "alt-right" and how that's now just a catch-all term for dissenting opinions.
I have many doubts that a large percentage of the Era users who claim to visit here actually have. Otherwise they would be able to see that this is not some stormfront-esque hellscape, but actually quite a pleasant place to be that isn't mired in misery.

Definitely. Was Bradley Manning before transitioning, leaked a metric fuckton of documents regarding war atrocities to wikileaks, one of the reasons Assange still is in hot water. Got jailed for it, was mentally abused (not the Reeee-kind of abuse) and came out as trans during incarceration.
For what one person can do and take, she's done more than most. Bit of a shitshow but courage displayed is what I'm counting here.
