How do you know she didn't get the job because of her race?

Sometimes hiring managers make absolutely arbitrary decisions that make no sense.

Or maybe they could pay someone with 1 year of experience way less than someone with 5 years?

Maye the white guy was cheaper and would work for less? I'm assuming it was these white people that gave her the contracting position to begin with? I'm assuming there was no racism for the year that she had already worked there or why would she apply for a permanent position?

There's also a strong argument to be made that "white supremacy" really wasn't a school of thought until the 19th century. Prior to that it was more "civilized" vs "uncivilized" which was a concept that persisted across the entire globe.

What a stupid post. This is happening everywhere. Teaching is weird (at least in the UK) and some teachers are entitled to TLRs for extra payments into salary, they also get boosted for other responsibilities (first aid registration) etc. Then there are specialty teachers like EYFS.

A lot of older teachers are essentially being forced out who have experience because its cheaper and easier to hire 2 x NQTs than an experienced teacher. Thats probably all it is. Short term capital write off with a contractor until you can add a small increase tonthr revenues. Its not hard.

A lot of posts on era are like 'I was banned from XBL for no reason'. Then when you dig a bit there is always a reason that was left out.

This is what happened here in California during the last two teacher crises. The cheapest thing they could do was hire temps and subs to fill the roles, only to end up in a situation where that's all they had, so a pile of unqualified people got tenure for positions they should have held. Second go around happened because they tried to slowly find ways to layoff the unqualified teachers, only to end up back in the same situation of needing to hire more temps and subs to fill in the blanks.
