I can assure you there will be more salt if it wins than the other way around, Part II if not here then will get awards from many other places either way.OMG so salty here. There is a high chance of TLOUS2 win this GOTY 2020, but if lose to either GoT or AC some people here really gonna lose their minds.

How is The Last of Us II not repetitive? At least in GoT you actually have quests, characters to meet, stories to tell. The Last of Us II is one long chase quest with just kill room after kill room that just never ends. Then forces you to play another 15 hours to see the "true" ending. The game felt all out of order, and paced awful.I liked it a lot... I have no ideia what you are talking about.
GoT is not a GOTY content... it is very very repetitive.
Because the gameplay is not repetitive lolHow is The Last of Us II not repetitive? At least in GoT you actually have quests, characters to meet, stories to tell. That suddenly change of 11%.
Because the gameplay is not repetitive lol
You can play the same room in dozen different ways.
Nope... the game is very repetitive in terms of gameplay. You can play every situation in GOT in hundreds of different ways.
Keep crying.
Nope... the game is very repetitive in terms of gameplay.
I do live the game but it is really has a lot of flaws in the gameplay.
Nope... nobody disagreed until now with what I said about both games.Because you say so.
Apparently more people think you're wrong. May want to simply live with it.
Nope... nobody disagreed until now with what I said about both games.
They disagreed that I believe one is GOTY content and the other not.
Exactly. How is The Last of Us II not repetitive? At least in GoT you actually have quests, characters to meet, stories to tell. I never touched the multiplayer... it was launched months after the game.Exactly.
The thing I don't understand is how anyone could say GoT is "repetitive" when SP added a whole multiplayer/co-op component that no one expected. One that was more extensive then it had any right to be. All while adding additional content to the campaign experience.
The TLOU2 fanatics are making my experience with the game sour, Jesus Christ. You can like the game more than GoT, there's nothing wrong with that. Just like how it's the other way around for other folks, like myself. But that doesn't mean they're in the wrong for their opinion, lmao. No reason to try to 1up a person's opinion, or berate them for it.
I never touched the multiplayer... it was launched months after the game.
You are talking about the wrong guy I believe.at least it had multiplayer. Where is factions 2 again?
You can vote here for the actual Awards.Anyone got a link to the votes? I need to do my part
>No oneJust glad to see no one actually likes TLOU2 beyond it’s politics.
They did my boy Joel wrong.
What you described legit sounds more like my experience with TLOU2 rather that GoT, lol.... GoT was legit one of the few games I've ever played period where I completed every single quest. Wild how people's experiences can be so different, but that's the magic of opinions, haha.I never touched the multiplayer... it was launched months after the game.
The gameplay loop is Cutscene... track the target... fight and kill... repeat.
>No one
The second biggest bloc of voters liked it, fam. Let's be real, this vote also proves that game isn't near as hated ascertain gamers wanna pretend.
It’s not in the same realm as TLoU 1, that tells you all you need to know. From 17 million sold to maybe 5 million and a divided fanbase that has made the game a control point in the culture war. They should have just made a quality game and been done with it.I love how this forum thinks that the gaming community HAAAAAAATES TLOU2 but it managed to get to the number 2 spot in a player choice vote.
Good job TLOU2.
5 million? It’s not in the same realm as TLoU 1, that tells you all you need to know. From 17 million sold to maybe 5 million and a divided fanbase that has made the game a control point in the culture war. They should have just made a quality game and been done with it.
Becoming a point in a culture war does not make something a bad game. The GTA series became that as well and it looks like Cyberpunk 2077 will also be divisive. It’s not in the same realm as TLoU 1, that tells you all you need to know. Educated guess based on the last hard numbers we had.5 million?
No, but it does affect sales. The new left, who rage at GTA and Cyberpunk, are the PMRC/Tipper Gores of the 80’s and 90’s. Do you think Tipper Gore was buying Ice T albums? She just needed a purpose. They are the minority. Regular people will buy the aforementioned games and the left’s toddler rage will boost sales further amongst those who took up the mantle of fighting for freedom of speech.Becoming a point in a culture war does not make something a bad game. Correct. It’s a guess based on the last numbers we had. Regardless, the sales pale in comparison to the original game no matter how you cut it.There aren't any updated sales numbers so there isn't anything to go on.
TLOU2 did record sales at launch... better than original.Educated guess based on the last hard numbers we had.

It reached 20m helped by the remaster.TLOU1 sold 17 million over the course of seven years. TLOU2 has been out for less than a year.
Maybe, just maybe, Ghost of Tsushima won because it had and retained more active players than TLOU2, to the point that it's even among the Top 10 played games on the PS5.
It sold over 20 million as of October 2019.TLOU1 sold 17 million over the course of seven years. TLOU2 has been out for less than a year.
At launch, is the key phrase. It sold off the reputation of the first and the hype leading up to it.TLOU2 did record sales at launch... better than original.
In US it is archived the 3rd best selling exclusive game on PS4 in just a month.
I mean the narrative of it selling less than original or having bad sale is just some fantasy I guess.
