Interesting how there's only 1 graphics mode for X1X. So the toggle is exclusive to XSX at the moment.

Yeah, that’s why I was pointing out the specific next gen consoles in the OP

Hadn't seen it confirmed elsewhere until I saw him mention it in this vid.
I think everyone was assuming XSX was just running the X1X version which would also have the toggle.
X1X version looks good though. Res is above 1440p

That's my point. The performance mode on XSX has plenty of framerate drops. Maybe the XSX needed a 30fps mode. It's just a guess and I could be wrong. After having watched some PS5 footage with a stable 60fps mode I was very suprised to see framerate drops on the first XSX footage in the same mode, from the very start of the footage happening inside a building. And in the streets it's way worse. Some would definitely want a 30fps cap.

The performance mode is the mode where you are saying you are seeing dips. It’s also the mode that the ps5 runs.
why would they then add a quality mode that’s more stress to run if they want to reduce frame drops?
quality mode looks better than the performance mode, but it’s basically locked at 30 FPS

It's not a confirmed difference between the 2 modes. The ped population is randomized from certain factors
On Tom Warren's vid there's more peds when you come down those stairs in perf mode, but it's at night.

BC works differently on Xbox and PS5. Xbox has a much better solution as it lets devs patch in next gen only things while still running in BC mode, whereas on PS5 they can’t, like this and warzones 120fps mode, and the pubg devs are going to patch series S specific updates next too.

yeah I get it. One would think this wouldn’t necessarily be an issue with games that are under development with that constraint as a known factor.
I.e. just put all that shit in the ps4pro version as a toggle and let the ps5 version rip.
Someone was saying that Tsushima has some functionality exclusive to the ps5 so there must be something they can do

Downloading in XSX as well. Opted for that over PS5 as I want the graphics mode option after watching the comparison video from Trusted Reviews posted earlier. Doubt I’ll play today as I don’t want to change regions or dive in at Midnight.

Indeed, look at the tattoo at 0:50 seconds mark, it looks so much clearer on the PS5. It's like Dirt 5 situation all over again. The PS5 is just running better than XSX.

The videos I’ve seen of the game running on PS5 have looked quite good so far, and a few counts have put the game around 1200p, which while not great, I will gladly take for 60FPS gameplay.
That is false. Both is working similar, the one difference is Xbox supported 120 hz and PS4 not

Framerate is flawless judged from what I've been playing so far. One thing I noticed is that when I set deadzone to minimum it gives me drift so for now I'm sticking with default.

I'd rather have a higher resolution at 30fps. I mean Deus Ex looks a lot cleaner than this and it's 30fps wasn't a problem. But that's just me.

Depends on your hardware I guess. This is just talking tech aspects. The game itself is dope as fuck. 60fps runs flawlessly on my end. I just expected more visual wise. It doesn't whoa me.

you do know that something is sacrificed fidelity wise to get 60fps? thats why some people are content with 30 fps and max fidelity.
uncharted 2, god of war, tlou all that shit was 30 fps, and wasnt exactly a slideshow obviously. people loved the games plenty. you guys need to stop that shit lol

And then also... do you care more about frame rate or graphics? Because you’ve got more choice on Series X with the quality Vs. performance modes whereas PS5 is locked in performance (frame rate) mode.

I mean what do u want me to say? I guess by now uve seen clips of the ps4 or ps5 version. If u ok with the fidelity then u good to go. Framerate wise it's absolutely flawless. HDR looks kinda meh but I'm sure u can tweak that to your liking.

OK. Here is my honest opinion.... Don't crucify me. I found both Witcher 3 and tlou2 to be two of the best games I've ever played. I also found them both way too long. As for Cyberpunk.. And keep in mind, that's just my subjective opinion... I can't quite put the finger on it but... I don't like it so far. I find it deeply boring. Might be the visuals I dunno. I might need to play some more.
