I have been hoping for a NG update to Death Stranding before I go back and finish it up/plat it. That would be awesome.

Seems like a pretty small announcement. I'd expect extremely minor free DLC, or a patch or PS5 upgrade or something.

He's not going to announce a game like this. He creates spectacle and usually announces on stage with trailers that usually win whatever show they're debuted at.

Smart money is on a PS5 patch(and probably a PS5 retail copy) of Death Stranding being announced.

I really don't see his new IP being revealed out of the blue. Sony has a TON of big guns already lined up in 2021(GoW, GT, Ratchet, etc.).

I don't think you see the new IP until E3 2021 at the earliest.

Don't think a paid DLC will be a huge hit or anything. He's probably eager to move on to the next game using the new hardware.

I would keep expectations in check. If he had an announcement as big as a new game reveal to make, it wouldn't happen on social media. It'd have happened at the TGA last week. That's pretty much guaranteed. The most that I expect is a PS5 port of death stranding.
