Ask me about my wife's perfect butthole
Gamers concerned by a increasingly predatory industry.

If people want to harm themselves, that's their issue IMO.

I've literally never bought a microtransaction, and never played a game where I thought microtransactions made it worse. I know some games have been designed to fuck you over if you don't spend, those games suck... but beyond that, I love RPG/leveling mechanics.. so if microtransactions are motivating devs to put those mechanics in.. the more the merrier.

The AAA industry is honestly stupid as hell. Release 100h+ hour games for no reason with filler everywhere and then sell MTX to make them shorter.

You realise you don't have to play these games, right?
Heh understood, but I enjoy them. I enjoy story, gameplay, sidequests. I just dont want to have to grind every single small sidequest to get to the endgame. I had to do a lot of that in valhalla. Still really enjoyed my time with the game but wouldve welcomed it to be about 20 hours shorter.

Leveling is piss easy so no it really doesn't.
They intentionally bloat these games so people like B Bubba77 will gladly buy MTX to make them shorter. Imagine if they streamlined these games. They'd still be long but they'd be much better for it. So yeah, it does affect your experience, whether you're aware of it or not. Ubisoft are hoping you're not.

Pretty shady move to dodge the initial review critique on MTX imo.

This is why scores for live service games need also to be updated with time. No man's sky definitely deserves better than 61 MC score now while Valhalla should be critiqued by such shady move.

Didn't they do something similar with some other game?

I've managed to progress through main story while just interacting with a couple of mysteries and treasures and have never once been level gated unlike with Odyseey

It's a non issue.

Yep. Do YOU understand it?
At what point in Valhalla is this micro transaction essential to complete the game?

At what point is a micro transaction needed in a single player game?

Are you pro-union?

(lol jk I know you aren't)

-Advocating against MTX in a Ubisoft Assassin's Creed title
-Somehow equates me to being anti-union, a topic which is not even in the same universe or thread

Ubi being Ubi. Who's surprised?

It's a disgusting move, for sure.

And yet there is someone in this very thread who wants to buy this MTX and already did it in the previous game.

I've already explained it to you, I'm not repeating myself.

It's a complete waste of money. Once again, you're not level gated like you are in Odyseey. There is absolutely no need to be buying these unless you just want to kill enemies faster.

You may as well just not buy the game then and just watch it on YouTube instead

You don't need to repeat yourself. You need to be quiet and listen

You have already demonstrated that the point has sailed 100 metres over your head. I'm not sure why you need to keep doubling down.

I'm still surprised people buy ubi games tbh, yes they're well made and graphically pretty nice but by fuck do they bore the absolute cunt offa yee after a few hours and each game is a skin rewrap of the previous game
