Project Athia doesn't even have a proper name and yet we're supposed to believe its just a year out? Yeh right.

Nice to see Kena is coming in March though. Have a feeling Ratchet will get pushed into Q2 or even Q3.

Yep. It's no earlier than May 2021 now, given that Kena will be coming out this March.

Sony has a heck of a lineup this year and that isn't even including their own games. I could see Ratchet coming in May or June to help fill those months and Horizon in September. Wonder if FF16 will make it this year too. Only one of those dates I'm skeptical about is Project Athia in Jan 2022 but we did have some people saying it was closer than you may think.

Why is Sony announcing it this way though?
This is their CES event, which tends to be more investor-oriented (for some reason) or tech-mag friendly; very rarely is it a show that makes time games, even in the times when gaming devices are on the stage.

CES tends to present sub-brand products (meaning the show is about hardware, not software that runs on the hardware) as an afterthought for most companies unless they have a new console to trot out. Sometimes there's one big game at a CES, sometimes there's a sizzle reel, sometimes it's just some product names or a date lineup, sometimes James Cameron comes out during a car rollout event to talk about Avatar... It's a weird freaking show if you're living on planet Earth, even if you are into tech.

Is this real? Crazy way to announce these dates if so......

If so though, woohhh! I might have to upgrade the PS4 Pro sooner rather than later. Kena, Horizon, Returnal, and Ratchet & Clank all in one year, plus being able to play Demon Souls and Miles Morales is definitely enough top tier content.

Someone needs to fire the person who spellchecked this slide though. "Janurary", c'mon man!

Bro March is gonna be un fucking real. Kena, Returnal AND Disco Elysium. PS5 owners boutta EAT.
not why I bought a ps5. I expect ratchet and clank to release around this time or I’m a bit disappointed. Am I missing something? Kena? Returnal? Disco Elysium? Are these really hard hitting games for people? I mean I hope they’re good but damn. Hitman’s lookin like the most interesting release to me for awhile

Them saying 2021 tells me target is November 2021, and it'll get pushed to Feb-March 2022.
I pushed it back a hair only because March is MLB The Show month towards the end, and February is a hair too early for their heavy hitter with income taxes. But with that said, they seem to have no issue with any month they launch their games really as well.
