This looks bad and I’ll be shocked if it’s ever officially released.
What looks bad about it?

It’s not going to play good at all

1.2 Solitaire. This could very well be the first playable version of Goldeneye 64 cause fuck N64 controls
You should try modern games then. I ain't saying they are the greatest thing wince sliced bread, but this game is nothing but a nostalgia ride. It didn't age well at all.Bullshit, I replay this game every few years and it’s still amazing.
I'd advise anyone, to play any of the Rare shooters (Including Time Splitters) on PC with a mouse & keyboard and 60 FPS. It gives those games another life. Sometimes only small fixes are needed to make an old game fun again.but this game is nothing but a nostalgia ride. It didn't age well at all.

They should have obtained this version of the soundtrack:

Let's be real. From a technical aspect even games like cod and battlefield are better, even thoigh they can be seen as mediocre todayWhat...Modern games are so great that they make old games bad?
This is one of the dumbest things I’ve ever read on GAF.
Did u bother reading op, a few already have the game, might get leaked soon. Thanks to Nintendo, this will never be released.
That’s because of nostalgia Goggles. No one ever mention’s Nightfire or Everything or Nothing, both of which are vastly superior and much more playable than Goldeneye. EoN was basically Pierce Brosnans last bond film, the story was amazing! Remake that one with an Uncharted budget and production values. In terms of James Bond. I can’t believe they can’t make anything better than this.
The game was good when it came out. It’s not going to play good at all. Just keep your memories of the game and let it die.
Compared to the 3DS version, yes it is. Better framerate, nicer graphics, faster scrolling text, and gyro aiming was all it needed to be as good as it was. I wouldn't go back to the original though. Is Ocarina of Time dated as well?
Definitely!Would you consider Twilight Pricess or even Breath of the Wild better?

The 3DS version didn’t change the game’s layout, the map, or the objective. It added additional features to sharpen it up. It’s not like it was an edited version of the game. It was enhanced to make a better game. I don’t see what’s stopping a Goldeneye remaster from doing such that. The interesting thing to me is how they made the limited mobility, the limited cross hair with aiming, and the ability to move around a building flow together so well in Goldeneye. I don’t know if a lot of people remember that, but it was still doable. You could still pull out the game to this day and go around with your silenced PP7, taking out enemies one by one. I bet it could have been given the OOT treatment, but it hasn’t. It’s been added upon, mixed up, and the graphics changed. It still isn’t the same type of experience.Compared to the 3DS version, yes it is. Better framerate, nicer graphics, faster scrolling text, and gyro aiming was all it needed to be as good as it was. Oh, don't get me wrong, I like OOT. I just think the 3DS version had plenty of quality of life changes that make it hard to back to the 20 FPS original. The 3DS version didn’t change the game’s layout, the map, or the objective. Oh come on man. Nobody here is seriously thinking this would sell and be as popular as cod. Get real. This was made for the OG fans. Just like perfect dark xbla was. Accept it for what it is. If you dont think ul like it, then move on. The game wont be released through legitimate means anyway.Let's be real. Thinking everyone would love that game today is the same type of people who listened to elvis back in the days and says all modern games are shit and everyone would enjoy their old shit because its better than the newer music.
I prefer Eminems old music and from that era compared to the shit today, but taste just changes.
If the 007 n64 game today it would bomb like hell. If wasn't even that great compared to the many fps games on pc that was around the same time back then.
Eeeeh what? It looks exactly as you remember the game to look in your mind. This is perfect almost! This looks bad and I’ll be shocked if it’s ever officially released.
Playing it in Xenia so PC emulation. How are people playing? PC emulation? Hacked 360s?
So Phil was willing to cough up 7.5 billion to buy Bethesda but wasn't willing to go through with whatever it took to get this one game to release even though it was 90 percent finished. I'm glad it's out there now, even if the remade stuff doesn't look that great.

It's leaked in 95% complete state. It's probably never getting an official release.Okay, I'm hooked. This looks great imho. Yes, it's the same game but prettier – exactly what I want. I played through Goldeneye with M&KB a year ago or two, and it still holds up and is a fun FPS with an unmatched 007 atmosphere imho.
I want to play this one, badly. When they are talking about a "release" – do they mean a real, official release or a "it gets leaked on the internet and can eventually be torrented" 'release'?
