Ichiban Kasuga and his party of misfits have made the jump over to the PlayStation 5 in Yakuza: Like a Dragon. Check out the first 14 minutes of the game, played on PS5, in 4K resolution at 60 frames per second.
Is PS5 supposed to have extra improvements over the PC version? Here's hoping they bring that optimization over to the PC.
So did I - I'm pretty sure it's 1440p 60 which is still great and IGN is just doing a shit job as usual but maybe it's been upscaled to 4k now? Probably not though.Wait, I thought this was 4K 30?
4K60? I thought it was 1440p60. Impressive.

What Dualsense features do you require with this game? Just wondering, since I turn vibration off since the battles are so frequent.no dualsese support? no thanks
Shhh... Don't let the casuals know. They'll gnash their teeth for meaningless resolution and we'll go back to 30 fps.1440p at 60, right?
Devs have been using the 4K tag quite liberally this generation so far, just because of the output (ignoring the actual render resolution).
Inmersive vibration during punches? Trigger resistance.. Well anything? There's a lot of possibilities! The interaction between the sound coming out of the controller and how it vibrates just adds so much to me at least. What Dualsense features do you require with this game? I prefer 1440p/55fps because those last 5 FPS can’t be detected by a human eye anyway.1440p/60fps is the sweet spot. This gen is already starting off nicely if this becomes a true standard. 4k/30fps just isn’t a big enough jump in quality to lose 60fps.

Its upscaled 4k60(native resolution is 1440p in performance mode)Wait, I thought this was 4K 30?
So isn't that really 1440p then? Its upscaled 4k60(native resolution is 1440p in performance mode)
Yeah, just calling it 4K is very misleading. So isn't that really 1440p then?
Its like playing a game with screen res at 4k, but render resolution at 66.7%.
Don’t obsess over resolution and just enjoy the game, it’s amazing, imo the best JRPG of the past few years. The end sequence is one of those things you will probably remember a couple years from now.
Also sub > dub always and forever.
Its not 4K60, they are misleading with that titleLooking forward to picking this up. Wasn’t expecting 4k60fps.
