It will never come to an end. Having some PS games on PC doesn't mean every game is coming there. So far only 2 major PS4 games and most of the ones coming would be PS4 games according to Jim Ryan. Paying thousands on PC and then complaining about console exclusivity isn't sensible. If you're talking about a console gamer on a competing platform then yes if he/she is on a tight budget and can't afford the luxury of owning more than one console.
But that's how business is run, you need exclusives to tempt customers to invest inside your ecosystem, which brings million times more money than the sales of the exclusives themselves. If steam wasn't too dominant you'll see the same practice on PC as well, even though the craziest thing so far is many steam fanboys refuse to play any game outside steam even if that will not cost them any extra money, that is the most pathetic form of gamers.

After doing great with Spiderman, SONY just showed they can do great super hero games.
So who would you want they GET next & who is the developer?
For me I'd like Naughty Dog to take on Old Superman game.
Nobody has ever done a good Superman game from what I know & maybe only Naughty Dog can do him justice.
Superman has to be old & not that too powerful so they can confine him game play wise.
Or you have other better ideas you'd like to share.
Maybe they could confine him in a virtual city full of kryptonite fog. Oh, and make him fly through rings for no reason!

Would work great, although I don't feel him as an evil by nature in the movie. Not familiar with the comics though.
But would love a standalone or at least a spinoff of Venom as the protagonist. Pretty comedic.
i still havent played avengers i picked it up at xmas cheap and was waiting for the ps5 drop, now i have backlog of other ps4 games still not got time to play it. is it really that bad, is the campaign at least enjoyable.?

im in the middle of playing res 8 and then finishing of Spiderman remastered so i think i should give avengers story mode a go next as it did look good graphically .if its only a few hours of button mashing it was a cheap buy , online stuff just doesn't interest me i don't play enough to get invested in online .
not enough hours in the day lol this year would be nice to complete some of my titles before i get anymore.
i wouldn't mind a fantastic four game or a new hulk game and on dc side how about a wonder woman (cat woman got here own game even though that movie was mediocre )or justice league game since were are getting suicide squad it makes sense.

I think the most pathetic form of gamer is the ps fanboy who destroys their room when they learn that horizon will come to steam, but now we're just arguing over semantics.
Not wanting to invest on consoles is not about being cheap, it's about wanting your game to look as sharp and vibrant as possible and as fast as possible. Why do people want to limit a game on 30-60 fps and sub-par 4k is beyond me.
In the end, I don't want to have three-four different game machines in my room, those days are long past. If more console games get ported to pc, all the better for people who want options. If not ... I'm not losing any sleep. More than enough games on Steam for ten lifetimes.

It could not be a major one. The only reason they have Spider-Man is due to an ancient deal with Marvel that includes the movies.

Venom is one of Spidermans most famous Villains.
He has changed to a sort of Anti-Hero these days in the comic....but by and large hes spent most of his life as a Villain, and most comic book fans would first see him as a villain.
When the Venom movie was announced I was fully expecting it to be a Joker-esc situation where we are watching a villains origin story.
Hell now i even worried about the Mobius movie....are they gonna make him a "hero" in that too?
That said I would love to see Insomniac tackle a Venom game, hes bigger than Spiderman so even his webswinging and combat would have a totally different feel to it, and he has some other abilities that Spiderman and Miles dont have.

Pretty sure it's only be a matter of time. Covid, lack of hardware, Herman and Jim's past/recent announcements, etc. At least those two are trying to make Sony more money and expand their "exclusives" Only Nintendo can really continue to put out exclusives that'll never be on other platforms.

Spider-man is the only superhero basically that can exist by itself - its universe is very fleshed out. All other heroes are not that developed and by itself are relatively boring.

Spiderman is a lot easier to do simply because folks have a lot of history with the character from comics, to cartoons, and then movies. All you really need for a super hero game is an evil organization and a couple of unique bosses to fight. Pretty much any street level hero could work from luke cage, to iron fist, bat girl, nightwing, captain america, blade, punisher , and bloodshot.

Spiderman wasnt even top 5 solos last year.....heck he almost didnt even make the top 10.

- Star - Basically a Captain Marvel offshoot...but still it was a solo book.
Heck Miles Morales couldnt carry his own book but they still managed to make a good game out him.
Now with characters who can actually carry their own books you have a plethora of stories and a decent rouges gallery to build from.
Spider-man is still considered like the most popular character around overall....but in a year like 2020 when people were basically stuck at home and actually decided to catchup on comics and shit.
Spider-man almost failed to make the top 10 solo runs.
Since we already have a Spider-man game, we could pick near literally anyone from the top 10 and make a really good game out it.
P.S The Wonder Woman comic is actually really good, and has been good for a while.
P.P.S Star also has a really good book and its pretty short....if a big studio is handling the game it would be the perfect avenue to get more people to realize star is quite a complex character and as shes so new the studio would have quite some free reign to tell the story they want to tell based on the information we have of Star.
