O my god this post show where they're acting like a Rainbow Six Siege character is some profound enlightened character because it's created by six women or whatever.

Holy shit this is cringe.

Ubi you stupid motherfuckers. This was the worst E3 show since their fucking weird on-stage laser tag game.

uses 'M$' - What year is it? Not 2002.
Yep. That game wa so long to show anything and then send quickly back to sleep.
I remember someone got so mad at me because I pointed out they had a giant statue made of the characters from their beyond good and evil 2 trailer put in their lobby instead of using that money to fund the project

A damn good Ubisoft showcase. Hyped for Mario & Rabbids: Sparks of Hope, Far Cry 6, Avatar (current gen only baby!! whoooo!!!), Rainbow Six Quarantine and more expansions for AC Valhalla. Only disappointment was the Blood Dragon standalone being included with Far Cry 6 because I was thinking that it was Blood Dragon 2. Shame they haven't done that yet. Other than that, hyped!!!

Easily the worst Ubisoft E3 showing of all time.

A creatively and morally bankrupt company, run by greedy cunts, making games for stupid cunts.

Everything wrong with the video games industry, distilled into one hour of non stop squirting diarrhoea.
it wasn’t even bad, like Konami e3 conference was. It was just boring and lifeless.

It was like watching those ad reels they play in GameStop

Such a risk averse, creatively stifled company.
I think they are waiting until other devs create next-gen experiences/gameplay, just to ape it and save money/brain power.
Looking for trends then making a Ubi version of it down the line.

I can't wrap my head around the fact that we literally haven't seen a glimpse of Far Cry 6's in depth gameplay. 90% of the games announced were just the extension of existing ones. How we've come to this from awesome E3 announcements is beyond me.

Maybe I'm getting old or I was too young and excited for old E3s but this felt like total garbage.

That looked bad for a next gen title only. CGi teaser with 3s of gameplay, in-game render footage (river) ...

Thanks Cameron you ***! Go to hell JAMES!!

FC6 DLC is a pretty cool idea, Avatar looked nice but that's your "in-engine" demo from all time kings of bullshots.

also, 1st person action adventure, open world (from SGF stream now)

No it was bad. I think we are seeing the results of COVID setbacks- it’s easier to just make more of what’s come before than start with new ideas from scratch when you’re also grappling with figuring out how to work from home and all that.

next e3 will hopefully be better but I don’t expect the ps5 and the SeX to truly shine at e3 until 2023

Really? The video made it look like the jankiest thing ever. Was it an MMO?
Avatar 1 was a third-person hero action game with two novelties. One was being one of the first home games with 3D, and the other was that you could play as either a soldier or a blue cat, with different campaigns and some player-choice dilemmas (sort of.) There was also a Wii/PS2/PSP, and those you only played as a young Navi. Both were I believe prequels to the first movie.

it said snowdrop engine so in-engine.

So, it had a logo for Powered by Ubisoft Snowdrop (among a few logos) but it didn't actually have one of those "Captured In-Engine" or something like that, right?

I don't know that this was meant to be an engine demo. There are some flaws in the engine, like draw-in of foliage, but that happens either way if the CGI is handled quickly. (Also, the grass didn't move underfoot, so to those saying, "fuck cross-gen" to Horizon, here's a next-gen exclusive, same grass tech...) Them releasing screenshots that I think had some stuff not in the trailer (did they show a mech in the teaser) seems to point at it in engine.)

In-engine or not, Snowdrop is powerful and I'm eager to see what it can do with a Pandora landscape.)

So pretty much every game was an update to an old game besides two... Whooptie doo..

Like, how are they not making Splinter cell?? HOOOOWWW?!?!
That's their way of making money without making new nextgen games hah. They're obviously nor ready and this will be a transitional year for them. Forget about Ubi till the next E3. That was a stopgap presentation.

I'm just watching the conference now, and what I'm getting out of this is that Ubisoft is beyond creatively bankrupt. They have 0 new ideas of any kind, and they are coasting on shit, overpriced DLC, shit sequels, shit live service games that will all die, and their decisions are being driven by idiots with blue hair.

Fucking awful. Ubisoft have had bad E3s before, but this is absolutely fucking pitiful. Mr. Caffeine made me want to kill myself less.

Microsoft has nothing but dissapointment in the last 5 years but I think this garbage can be easily won over by showing a Forza and halo releasing this year everything else is cherry on the top
