Consoles: 1080p Panny plasma that I love to bits and refuse to upgrade. This includes my PS3, PS4 Pro, and Wii U. Once I get my hands on a PS5 then I will continue using it.

PC: 9900k + 2080Ti in dual display mode. One is 1440p165 and the other 4k144. Gsync/VRR is a lifesaver.

My favorite is my new retrogaming setup though. I use an RGB-Pi hooked to an old B&O MX 8000 which gives me a pixel perfect 240p RGB signal for consoles up to the PSX/N64 generation. I had no idea there were so many amazing games released when I was a teenager and too busy being stupid. I also use it with my modded Wii and anything else compatible.

My living room setup isn't particulary impressive. It's some budget 55" LG 4K HDR TV which model I don't even recall, a matching 5.1 soundbar with a subwoofer (I don't remember the cost but I am pretty sure it was under $300), PS5 / Switch/ Apple 4K TV, and bluetooth keyboard.

The PC in my home office is rather nice though:

i9-10900K @ 3.7 GHz
RTX 2080 Super
32 GB DDR4 G.Skill RAM
A few 1TB 3500/3000 MBps SSD's (not in an array)
32" 1440p monitor @ 75 Hz (no HDR but it doesn't seem to matter given how high we can crank lighting and shadow settings on PC, though I still want HDR)
Razer mouse, Cooler Master mousepad, Corsair keyboard
iPad Pro and/or MacBook Pro for a second screen for work
All custom water cooled thanks to iBuyPower

Office setup is about $3.5k I guess. Living room around $2.5k. Nothing extravagant.

Here's my desktop setup if you care. I have a new desk on order so I will be able to have two systems and an extra monitor soon (and yes that is a pager, I do healthcare IT, we still use those):

I was considering the TCL because the H9G was around the same price. The TCL has more features but the Hisense has the better image quality. The 120htz refresh rate is nice on the TCL but I don't expect many Xbox series X or PS5 games to be pushing that kind of framerate. 4k30 is the normal right now.

65 inch Sony Bravia XBR 950 with a Wii U modded to play my GameCube titles, Battery revision Switch, Nvidia Shield (mainly for Plex and emulation for my PSP and Saturn games), PS3 Super Slim, PS4 Slim, and an Xbox Series X with an Elite Series 2 controller.
I use stock speakers during the day, and when the kids are in bed, I use AirPod Pros for sound.
My PC is a 10 year old prebuilt HP I got at Staples on the cheap, as a temporary replacement that become a bit more permanent than I like. Waiting for it to die to replace it, but it’s a workhorse with no sign of slowing down.

PC - i5/RTX 3080

Living room - 55" TLC, Switch, PSVR and PS5.

Bedroom - 65" x900h, XBSX and PS5. Adjustable bed with the TV mounted at the foot of the bed. It's not great for competitive gaming but is the ultimate setup for lazy gaming.

Also bedroom - Toshiba CRT where I rotate older consoles. Currently PS2, Saturn and SNES.

I have a retro room with several crts, a nes, genesis, ps1, n64, wii, og xbox etc....

and a modern room with the pc, ps5, series x etc on a 4k tv

and then theres the living room with a PS4 and a 360

not showing pictures so people can geo locate the images and steal my stuff though

Retro room sounds tight

Crts are becoming increasingly difficult to come by. Treasure those bad boys. You never know

40" Samsung 4K "pHakeDR"* TV (MU6300 if I remember correctly) exclusively used for my consoles. Not the best TV, but good enough.
Visio soundbar with sub-woofer.
PS2 Super Slim, PS3 Super Slim and PS4 Pro (PS1 by proxy)

My PC is a Alienware M17 laptop with an RTX 2070 Max-Q 8GB. As I understand it, there are two versions of that card, and mine is the more powerful one, for what it's worth. Intel I7 8750H CPU, 16GB Ram.....blah, blah, blah. Don't really use it for modern games, mostly just legacy console emulation for everything older than PS1, and MAME (of course), which all run great.

Not cutting edge by any means, but I'm an old fart of 53 and don't really give a crap anymore, but I've got plenty of games to play to suit any mood, so I'm good.

Will eventually get a PS5 when I can just pick one up at a store, whenever that might be. Not really fussed with waiting.

* - supports HDR input, but doesn't have a wide color gamut.

Connected to Samsung UE40J5100 - there is no need for anything over 1080p for this consoles and TV signal is limited to 1080i/p in Poland anyway so 4K is a waste. I like native image :messenger_winking:
