This game is probably the biggest failure of video game history. Not because it is the absolute worse but because of how promising it was compared to how much they fucked it up.

No Man Sky's launch is nothing compared to the catastrophe that is Cyberpunk2077, or Star Citizen for that matter since it's never going to be an actual game. In fact Cyberpunk stands right between a No Man Sky and a Star Citizen that'll never fully get fixed.

I restarted this game this week after a long break. My current save is broken in that Vik's door is closed and can't be opened so I can't pay him back.

So far I have seen

1. All blood decals on my hands hover about 1" away.
2. In Johnny's first flashback in the heli there are either invisible buildings or some other kind of graphical glitch.
3. In the junkyard there are several graphical glitches and floating objects.
4. NPC's still in T poses.
5. NPC's still stacked atop one another.
6. My gun dissapearing.
7. My gun auto-fires and i had to switch away and switch back.
8. My health glitched and I was immortal.


10/10 will play some more!

I would also like to add. As soon I step out I get a call from Ragina(i think, the cop). Cool who are you and why do I care? Why are you also now trying to sell me a car. I get fifty other people trying to hawk jobs and cars on me. Who are all of you, how did you get my number and how the fuck does this fit in with anything!

Fixes to the minimap are very welcome. Still waiting on a patch to mention a fix for the Little Tokyo achievement glitch. Last trophy I need for the plat, have been waiting half a year.

Then with the case of Regina, why does V go "How did you get my number?" and she mentions something about having her ways or something.

Head to garage and get in car.
Dalamain hit and runs us.
V chums it up with Johnny like they've been "buddies" for a while now.
It was so fucking out of place from moments before telling Johnny to fuck off and downing a pill to shut him up.

I stopped halfway through in Decembrr expecting things to be drastically improved by now and yet 8 months later we are just starting to get a slightly zoomed out minimap.

Who are these patches for?

Base/S Xbox One was on the market for 8 years. Xbox One X was discontinued after 2.5 years. Xbox Series consoles haven't even been out a year yet.

I'm guessing that the majority of Xbox gamers that own this game are playing it on a base Xbox One.

I tried, saw how badly optimised it was from the get-go (even the options are a giveways), how badly designed the NPCs, AIs and immersive populating was (although the world in itself is gorgeous), got a few first rough animation and glitches and we stopped there, fuck the producers for teasing and ruining it.

The most important takeaway we wanted to verify was how incredibly badly if not all conceived and designed it was before going into production.

A few people (most of whom haven't even played the game) constantly taking potshots on neogaf isn't the universal consensus.
It's not perfect but mediocre sounds nicer thsn miserable and impossible to please
