In less than a year, some members of that place will find out that in these other sites administration or even in MOBA network administration itself, there are members doing some unacceptable stuff like having a christian religion. The ONLY one who has any right being outraged is Evillore. This motherfucker stole Evillore's userbase and then made off like a bandit. No one else has any right to be outraged about this. Whatsapp sold their platform to Facebook for $20 billion. Other than finding it hilarious how Facebook overpaid for it, I didnt care despite being a regular user. I think I was too optimistic in my thought that Era as we know it has 6 months tops. I have a feeling it's done after the weekend. The users will split off into the many differing sub-community spin-offs. A think a few here and there might try to pool everyone back together but it will ultimately be fruitless as no one will trust the new sites.

I predicted this too, but gave it less than 24 hours. It pays to be a pessimist. Doubly so when the community is primarily composed of grifters, zealots, and loons.

Honestly, all it's going to take is for one particularly bitter/vindictive person to comb through the other MOBA Network forums looking for "problematic" content that wasn't moderated according to ResetEra's aggressive (read: absurd) standards and to throw an opportunistic hissyfit, demanding that MN apply an Era-esque moderation policy company-wide, and then insist that the only "moral" choice is for people to abandon ship when MOBA Net's PR department offers a wish-washy (or even delayed) response.

I said this a couple of pages ago, but this is 100% where this shit is headed. I bet we'll see this before midnight tonight. Some dude is compiling a fucking dossier as we speak.

By the way: I found out after a GDPR request to delete the data (right to erasure) they still have your data because they ban your alts via IP and geolocation adress.
This is illegal in Europe (they after all sold the company to a european company).

I recommend everyone who had / has alt accounts on era to file a complaint with the europan commission.​
