CA sneakily passed a “trailer bill” in 2018 (meaning it was a law attached to another so no one could notice) that allows anyone including murderers to avoid jail as long as they get a doctor to tell the judge they have ANY short of mental illness. This guy gets a doctor to tell a judge that he has anxiety, alcoholism, or kleptomania and he skips jail and gets two years in a mental treatment facility and then walks. CA is completely fucked up.

No the goal is to empty all prisons in the state. Same reason why theft under $1000 is basically legal in the state. It used to be a felony, but they reduced it to a misdemeanor. Meaning it’s such a slap on the wrist cops won’t even bother when people walk into stores and fill up trash bags of stuff and just walk out, because nothing will happen to them.

Why shouldn't he be killed after MURDERING someone? For those who want to play the semantics game, I'm not talking about self-defense or other extreme circumstances. We're talking about someone who has murdered in cold blood. They should torture him for two days, technically kill him, pump him with adrenaline and then do it again! Never got this save the murderer marches people be going on. It's fucking weird.

You're just filled with hate. Why wish torture? How does that help you or victim? These news always show who people are. A Christian would pray for everyone involved, including the victims.

No, I'm not full of hate. I just hate the notion that murderers should get 3 hots and cot while we have folks less fortunate on the side of the road. The torture part was said in jest, but he should definitely be killed. Why should he get another day on earth when he willingly took a life? I pray for the victims, but have no desire to pray for a person who took a life when they could've walked away. Especially given the current information that the victim was in the process of leaving said person anyway. Would never find compassion for a senseless murderer. I feel some people take these positions because it isn't them (the family) in these situations. Are you praying for a guy who murdered your child for absolutely nothing? If he wants forgiveness, he can ask God himself. Down here for him, I'd wish nothing but the worst.

Not turn the other cheek, you have to defend yourself and your loved ones, but what happened is past. Of course, I understand where you come from and if this were my kid of course I would be angry. But what good does it do, really?

He wouldn't be witnessing anything if he hadn't basically bugged the room to know when his wife gets some.

She had made it known to him she wanted to divorce him. She didn't want him anymore, and she had made it known. She didn't want to be in the same room with him. Her being with another man is hardly called 'cheating' at this point - for her (and anyone with half a brain) the relationship was over. And even if it *was* cheating, it doesn't excuse him murdering her in the slightest. Nothing, NOTHING short of the death of someone you love or the threat on your own life or your loved one's excuses you for killing someone else.

We'll just have to agree to disagree. I will say I admire your resolve if this is truly the path you walk in, but I cannot do such a thing.

Especially when you have some people go to jail for murder and then get out and commit murder again. Now another life was lost because this psychopath was back on the streets when he/she should've taken a bullet to the cranium from the very beginning. I know The Lord said "Vengeance is mine" and I do believe Vengeance would be rectified by God, but I just feel we should expedite it down here.

A state should not be killing its own citizens, it's just not worthy of any civilized society. Then there's the whole thing with innocent people being executed, which is something we know happens every now and then.
