I have the main game on disc, but not the rallye add-on. Let's hope the add-on will be available too.

FH1 is X-enhanced and looks and plays great! It is also currently the only way to drive in the USA in a Forza Horizon game. And as an added bonus, it is cleansed of any woke agenda and even has a story.

If it isn’t a mistake relisting it’ll be added to Gamepass. It’s my favorite one and pure 2012 festival vibe. It has more personality and progression than the current game.

MS has put lots of effort into BC but also relicensing old stuff like this would be awesome. Like it’s kind of a joke that Forza is nearly a 20 year franchise for them but you can only buy Forza Horizon 4 and 5 right now.

I rather pay $20 to play SSX 3 than the newest snowboard game. I rather pay $20 to play NBA Street Vol. 2 than the newest NBA game. And yes, I rather pay $20 to play FH1 than The Crew 2 with the newest update.

It's about arcade fun, not having the newest roaster of cars / teams.

Pretty sure someone already answered you. It’s the only horizon game that lets you play in the US….

It’s not the same courses updated. It’s completely different environments.

In many ways first Forza Horizon is quite different from the games that followed. It is harder to get back to FH2, because newer games do more or less the same thing, but better, but the first one's charm is its simplicity. The map is not overstuffed with never-ending events and other tasks and I can totally see many racing fans preferring that. For the record, the first time I played it was around 2018 and it held up quite nicely.

Having access to BC games on Xbox has been one of the best experiences this gen for me.

When you can jump into older games very easily on your new system, you really start to broaden your mindset a bit and start to see how many modern games are homogenous. I think PS gamers who get the premium tier will definitely start saying the same thing in the coming months.

Some would love to go back to the days of NFL2k or even NCAA 2014 since they were the last real good College/football games!

It's possible it's even an error.

I checked on Prince of Persia (2008) on the MS Store on the console for months and it was unavailable. Then I saw it was available for $20 on one of the obscure website stores, and it actually worked and let me download it. Was my most wanted BC game.

EDIT: It looks like they might already be correcting it. When you reload the page it doesn't show the buy option now.

If it's a mistake I hope they let people keep it and not just refund it. Would like to grab it but 20 or I think even 30€ here is a bit much.

I'll buy it in a heartbeat if it gets an FPS boost patch.

I still have fond memories of playing the first game on the 360 and being utterly amazed by it. One of the rare games that used both 4XMSAA and FXAA. And a banging sound track.

The game's engine updates internally at 360hz. I suspect the rendering rate is tied to that as a 1/12th fraction. Doubling the frame rate with FPS Boost in that case would mean 720hz physics calculations. That might be difficult/impossible. Probably why no FPS Boost.

yeah, it already has a 4K patch... unlocking that framerate would be amazing.

Some games ages like fine wine.

Other games are popular when released, just to be forgotten 3 months after and not worth a second visit.

Forza horizon fits under the first category.

Shame it’s gone again. One of the best racing games of all time.

Best progress system and soundtrack of any Horizon game too by a mile.

Such a shame following games improved on other stuff but never came close in those two categories, especially the progress system.
