How do you know about my wet dreams?Nintendo, if you want, I'm gonna install your poor launcher on my PC so I can buy all your interesting games on my favorite platform. Think about it
Do crossbuy Jimbo.
Sony will want that PS plus money from PC users for sure. You aren't getting synced saves without shelling out for PS+. That's a big difference between PlayStation and XBox.

Not in every country. In mine prices are as high as ever.Prices are dropping, join the Master Race!
Nah steam or nothing in this case. Sony has no regional pricing or local currencies unlike steam
And Sony can afford that, their main money maker psn will still be there. Considering the quality of Sony exclusives those who really want it will get it.They can learn just like everyone else if it's not on Steam the majority will not buy.
Sometimes I really wish if everything launched in Steam only!
I think the goal is releasing their games on both Steam, PS PC, and PS5. PS PC launcher would give you access to your save files across PS5/PC. That would be a plus, and imagine if you buy it once you own it and can download it through PS PC and on PS5.
To me thats the direction they should go.
Not another launcher. Of course they want their own storefront to cut out the middleman.
It could work over multiplatform games too, to me it would add a lot of value. I would pay a little bit more for Elden Ring on Sony's PC store if it meant it was also available on PS for me.That's what I'm hoping this is. Incentivize buying Sony's games on playstation.com which grants both PC and PS licenses.
If true, TERRIBLE decision. One more bad decision from Jim Ryan.
Or or and hear me out.
It could just be for integration into Steam/GOG/EGS games the way Xbox Games Studios games are integrated to XBL and Steam even if you purchase them on Steam.
It would make sense and let people who purchase on Steam to unlock achievements on steam and on their PSN account at the same time, and for Sony to have "control" over crossplay in their games.
As is right now Playstation Studios Games barely* acknowledge your PSN account.
P.S I think it will also be a launcher for PSPlus PC games that will be announced later in the century.
*They dont at all.
They ain't dropping that fast lolPrices are dropping, join the Master Race!
Cause they are two separate launchers. Launching Cyberpunk on Steam opens a CDPR launcher that you then launch Cyberpunk from. It don’t launch the GoG one.Why have you split out GoG and CDPR?
They can also learn pc players don't pay for online like Microsoft did.And Sony can afford that, their main money maker psn will still be there. Considering the quality of Sony exclusives those who really want it will get it.
Lmao if this means PC trophies then the Trophy system is gonna become as worthless as steam achievements
It's not perfect yet, but already MUCH better. They ain't dropping that fast lol
You are confusing "much better" with "accessible as a console" which are not the same. The price of a ps5 equivalent PC is at least 900 plus and that is just for the GPU(a mid ranged one) motherboard and a decent CPU. Even those parts will be second hand. It's not perfect yet, but already MUCH better.
You could cheat to unlock them all.Why is that? Are Steam achievements broken or something?
I was talking to a guy who could afford a PS5 + a XSX. He could sell both for ~1.1000 and for that price you can already get a nice pc. But whatever, all i wanted to say is that prices are dropping and they do. Right now you can get a 3080 for 899 Euro while it was ~1,8k in December/January..You are confusing "much better" with "accessible as a console" which are not the same. A month or two ago they did buy the ones who made Fate/Grand Order, the mobile game that generates them $1B/year. They also have Fordwardworks, who is supposed to bring some PS IPs to mobile but as far as I remember they always made Japan only games and they didn't release a title since many time ago. While this is good, what they really need to focus heavily is the PlayStation mobile division. I haven't seen much progress on that front.
For instance, TLOU 2 Factions, Destiny, Destruction All Stars, etc. should also have a F2P mobile port. They could rake in some serious cash with MTX.
There are trainers you can run that just unlock them all.Why is that? Are Steam achievements broken or something?
Then there is a bunch of missing launchers on the list.Cause they are two separate launchers. Launching Cyberpunk on Steam opens a CDPR launcher that you then launch Cyberpunk from. It don’t launch the GoG one.
