Damn dude it is just a thread for fun. "Banal", "ultrageneralization", "abuse", why are you so triggered?
If I'm wrong then would you mind pointing out where all these innovative AAA games are because I surely want to play them.
Ya'll who think you know better always throw around the idea that AAA games aren't "creative" or "Innovative" but can you even define what that means?
There is a ton of creativity that goes into every single half-decent game on Earth. It doesn't need to be expressed in features that are crazy out there to be entirely valid creativity. Even just writing a remotely interesting story is by definition a very creative process. Give it a try. Let's see what you come up with. There's no "creative bankruptcy" (which is one of the most nonsensical catchphrases you see nowadays). It's simply creativity expressed in ways that may not interest you specifically.
Well if that's the case maybe you could help us by creating read-worthy threads instead of always complaining like a kid.
Repeating exactly the same thing doesn't help your point a great deal you know?
At least OP's thread is something original that came out of his own mind, and not something taken from twitter, youtube or some sales or business webpage.
Original? Generic complaint about the state of the AAA industry is your idea of original? That must be one of the most common topics you see around.
Calling developers uncreative is almost as nonsensical as calling them lazy nowadays.
What does "creatively bankrupt" mean? It just seems like a vague critism.
People use catchphrases when they don't really know what point they want to make.
