I hate WB and Gunn doesn’t deserve to be heading the DCU.
Cavill was amazing as Superman. In fact all the actors they’ve been abandoning have been great casting choices.

He's a year older than Craig was when he did Casino Royale, and EON has already said they're looking for someone younger to play the role for 10 years; so someone in their late 20s or early 30s. Craig's age became an issue for Bond around Skyfall because he kept getting hurt.

Honestly this was needed.
WB has been mishandling these characters immensely. We hear "no direction" thrown around a lot but WB is what that truly looks like. They were just throwing at the wall to see what sticks.
The Snyder stuff just wasn't good. Some of it was ok but the vast majority was a disservice to the characters. We need a clean slate.
Only person I feel bad for is Henry. He tried to make it happen but it is what it is.
Hilarious how Black Adam is completely irrelevant now. I hope fiege calls him up. I'd love to see him get a role he can actually play with and explore.

Critics and many fans complained about his portrayal since the start. Most people seem to only like him because he looks good as Superman. Which generally speaking is how fans do a lot of their super hero fan casting nowadays.
Cavil is not a bankable star. The other actors they abandoning were really never that great. The DCEU basically gave a bunch of failing actors a popularity boost by letting them play major characters. These movies were their big break when they were all struggling to pay bills and some were ready to quit acting. Affleck is great IMO but he doesn’t want to do it anymore.
The DC film business needs this reboot/clean slate they tried to salvage it the last few years but failed. There’s more inconsistencies than ever and more problems then ever.

That was because Craig was a mess physically and did too many of his own stunts. Cavill is not that.
Not that I want Cavill as Bond, I dont think he would be a good fit, but who wanna see 20 year old Bond. 35 should be minimum age for Bond.

What are you babbling about? The guy isn't even 40 yet, if they had a script ready to go he could start before Moore, Dalton, or Brosnan and only just after Craig. Only Connery and especially Lazenby were young.
40's to 50's is PRIME Bond actor age if you ask me, especially these days. Craig just looks old and dour, always has.

There is no indication that they are keeping any actors connected to Henry Cavill's Superman (like Ezra Miller). Sounds like only the standalone stuff like The Batman and Joker franchises are continuing.

Because if there is anything that says James Bond it’s a guy in his late 20s. I guess giving Bond some resemblance of a family and seeing his father side protecting Madeleine and her daughter was just too much . Except it was first time in decades you saw any character development from Bond.
It’s incredible to me how the movie industry keeps pushing younger and younger actors when the majority of population in developed countries is getting older and older.
