So my wife absolutely hates the look of the PS5. I told here the panels can be swapped and there’s others mods some do. She suggested we look into them.

I’m curious what some of you have done. Please post photos if you can. And links to the items would be a great help.

I will say this. Knowing what the PS5 looks like, and seeing it setup in your home are two very different things. I was not prepared for the size, regardless of knowing the dimensions before hand, lol.

Wouldn't call this moding just replacing cheap garbage Sony is building their products with.

I modded my PS5 by snapping a plastic stand to the bottom of the case. Found it in the original box it came with. Is much more stable now. Recommend it.

Even though I like the original black and white look of PS5 I'm thinking about switching out the plates for the official purple ones. Only problem is that they are so expensive. 60 bucks for it, Sony is totally ripping me off with that price. Greedy bastards.

If you got a day one PS5 get an NMB Fan. The Nidec Fans are garbage and make this terrible UFO buzzing noise sound.

Depends on the game. But I think arround 6 hours.

First thing I did after getting the PS5 was setting up a Dualsense teardown video and replaced the terrible battery. Fuck that! I'll probably do the same with the Edge controller.

Well said bro. The battery life on these Dualsense controllers is pure garbage.

My PC case is simple design.

I painted my plates and controller but that was it. Every time i move my PS5 around in my entertainment center it falls off that dumb stand. I want some plates that turn the console into a freestanding, secure box. Every time a disc spins in mine the whole console vibrates.

But Sony went the route "Hey everyone, look at PS5 in the family room" while everything other gadget is black.
