I really think that King Shark is not a beloved character, correct.

Harley Quinn is the biggest draw, but the character's own movie was a financial disappointment for the studio.

I'm not saying those characters are nothing, but "beloved" is stretching it past breaking point, imo.

None of showed trailers convinced me I want to play game and now this. Arkham Knight was in my top5 best games of last generation and generaly love Batman series and in this gen we got massivly disappointing Gotham Knights and this Sucide Squad whatever it is. Eh.

Exactly. Games as a Service requires the service part. Fortnite is free to play and comes with constant, ongoing updates. When you play an MMO, you get new maps, hours of new content, more storylines, whatever else. Whether it’s Destiny 2 or Final Fantasy XIV, you know your money and time leads to more meat to sink your teeth in. There’s proven value to the investment.

What is Suicide Squad going to be offering? Where does the service part come in? I imagine the battle pass is shoehorned in for essentially “more money for us, fuck you” but I am open to being surprised.

It was one of my most anticipated 2023 game, as a huge fan of Arkham games (best superhero games imo, even beyond Spiderman ps4), i wanted to believe in Rocksteady. But not feeling this game that much anymore tbh.
