Do influencers get separate servers? How TF is he able to get in, stay in and reach level 17?

it's a bit confusing system, some abilities use dual wield weapons, some two handed... you can switch the weapon to use for the two handed abilities in the skill assignmenu with middle mouse button

atmosphere is great in this game, playing on tier 2 as a barb and combat can get hairy fast especially with poison enemies... feels like everything and their mother drops a slightly better item and i have to keep checking my inventory, i dont it being this bad in diablo3 or even in immortal

Haven't had any disconnects yet, initial queue was about 45 minutes.
Level 9 sorcerer, I've had some texture loading problems but everything else seems solid so far.
Feels like Diablo to me, but I'm sure it will draw ire from D2 and D3 fans alike for one reason or another.

The wife and I are going to hop on here soon, good to hear that it sounds like despite long queue times that most people are in now.

I thought this thing would be on fire all weekend.

Was in queue for 90 minutes.. Played something else for like 20 and went back to check and only 11 minutes was left. Pc version

Yeah this game is awesome. The stuttering on PC is really annoying because my fps is 120+ all the time. Game looks and sounds amazing and the combat feels chunky. Im loving the tone and the ingame cinematics aswell

I don’t like what I’ve seen so far. Really cartoonish, really similar do D3 in many aspects too.
I especially hate the inventory. D2 has its own problems but a ring occupies the same space as an armor in D4, it’s insane. The art style is so uninspiring and items feel bland.

Is anyone getting stutters during the in game cutscenes on PC? The game itself seems to run great but I get stutters during the in game cutscenes on a 3070 TI @ 3440x1440.

I'm gonna log back into the PS5 version (and wait in the 80 min queue) to replay that part and if I don't get stuttering on PS5 then I'm refunding the PC version and sticking with the PS5. I don't have time for this shit.

Pretty much only watched the intro sequence. You telling me that all it takes to resurrect a major demon is the blood of three random adventurers?

Game looks fine I guess, maybe I let the nostalgia (and the empty desire of old blizzard making a good game) win

The fuck? I can understand your inventory complaint but the game in zero ways looks cartoonish like D3.

That said. I just got fucking disconnected.

Diablo 2 is one of my top 3 games all time. Started playing Diablo 1. Diablo 3 day one to current has been terrible. Can't judge a game by a few hrs. But I am playing assassin and it feels almost the same as the bow class in D3. This game feels nothing like Diablo 2 besides the name Diablo. This is not a different Diablo game either. This is a new Diablo 3. That is not a good thing. Can tell the same devs that made D3 made this game.

Will for sure give it more time. I pre order the $100 version. If I had to make a decision two hrs in on buying the game I would pick the refund. I rather play D2r or PoE. I can not stand Diablo 3 in any shape or form.

Played for a solid 4 hours straight got the big disconnect and now 110 min queue. Time for dinner. This game will f'n consume my soul when it launches at retail.

Maybe I'm crazy but I fucking loved vanilla Diablo 3. I loved how hard it was and how 1 bad move could completely fuck you. I also didn't like how 1 server hiccup also could completely fuck you lmao. I know the auction house was very contreversial but I do miss the AH Meta of finding a super rare ring or xbow and listing it and making MILLIONS of gold so you can buy a killer wep for whatever class you were playing. I put in about 1000 hours into vanilla and then of course put in another 500 or so into the 'fixed' version of Diablo 3. I still liked it, can't hate. I hope this is just as addicting as every other Diablo.

lmao, five minutes after I made this post my game lagged out. I could move around the current map, but everything else stopped working, enemies, npcs, etc.
It would be really nice if the data from the beta actually translated to a smooth launch for once, but it would also be really nice if I could pull hundred dollar bills out of my asshole.

We'll see which happens first.

It's almost unbelievable that a company like Blizzard didn't manage to organise this better.

After waiting about 30min, I got in the game. Managed to get a Barbarian to level 9 or so and then got disconnected. Now it seems the character is just gone. Guess I'm done for today.

Absolutely ridiculous. If they want to push the "always online" thing, they should at least get stuff working properly on their end.

Had fun playing the game while it worked though.

Yeah, I lagged out, bounced back to character select, and was unable to re-enter the game with my created character.

So, another 80-90 minute queue. Not surprising.

Will hopefully get some solid time in tonight? Dunno, fearful of another disc.

It's a really fun game. People mad that it isn't more like D2, but whatever... both are fun games IMO, them having significant differences doesn't hurt me. Never understood that line of thinking.

Real money auction house sucked, but like you say I liked the idea of the auction house in general! Even though it did kind of break the game, I still had some fun with it.

On PC. What little I got to play was ok but the dodge just feels weird. I never could play Diablo with a controller since 2 and 3 were built for after the fact but will have to try it next time I get in. I think it might feel better that way.

getting stutter ingame too but cutscenes are worse. Everyone is getting it, it will be fixed dont worry. Blizz wont release a pc game like this, atleast i hope so :D
