Forspoken is million times better. I've finished it.
I couldn't handle 5 hours of atomic crap. As I emerged from the underground, the game got even worse.
People say forspoken writting is cringe?! Atomic heart is waaaaaay worse and there is 100x more of it. They never fucking shut up with stupid crap.
And forspoken offers much better, much less annoying open world combat with very good movement.

Dunno, the art and visuals in Atomic Heart actually look cohesive and have grade A animations. I thoroughly enjoyed it. And the combat is challenging.

Forspoken feels like a game that was being made in the PS3 era, kind of looks like one too.

Forspoken was so good that that it's tanking Square Enix finances and paving the way to bankruptcy. That's how good that game was I guess...

Forspoken is cohesive. It is what it is and the fact that the studio went down, does not speak for the quality of the game.
People avoided that game because it became a meme before it's release. Twitter steered peoples opinion.... even if they think, they actually got one.

It's just gamepass. It's "players" whatever that is. Maybe people who only downloaded the game or went into the menu.
We don't know what are these numbers and if they are real. Also - boobs draw a lot of atention

Then how does that explain its low review scores? Even lower than Atomic Hearts?

Glad it seems like a success for them. To me it's all i was hoped for after all the years of trailers etc, they delivered big time and even surprised with very good performance on consoles.
I never understand people who ask "what you like in this?", what is it even matter to you? you didn't enjoy it and other did, what's more to tell? that i like the combat? that i like the world they created? the awesome music? the mix of combat/exploring/puzzles?
will this now make you like the game?
nah.. we all have games that are well liked that didn't click with us, nothing to it.

Just like how twitter steered people into boycotting and canceling Hogwarts Legacy right?

You must also be forgetting that Forspoken had a playable demo way ahead before any of the memes happened. The game was a marketing and technological shit show from the get go. Just being real.

As for the topic, no sales numbers and already out of the charts right? only way to know how it fared it's NPD and I don't see it doing well there either

People are going to have to accept the new paradigm. Sales figures are not that important a metric in the subscription landscape we find ourselves in.

I´m not on ANY social media(if you don`t count Neogaf or Whatsap), neither is my wife, nor 3 of my closest friends and we all tried Forspoken and decided it`s crap.
The conspiracy theories exist only in your head and you simply have a soft spot for this specific crappy game, just like some people are into feet ...or armpits.

Remember forspoken was memed months before release. The game stood no chance.
But it's not the only thing of course. The game was just good. Not 2nd coming of christ. And at that, it starred a young, alive character and tried new style and people don't want that. People want boring, samey games .Looks at nfs unbounded? Cartoon smoke and poople riot. It's different, it looks too fun.

It's not a bad game but it would need to be extremely great to get around it's negative bias. Look at tlou2? People are still angry about the leaks. People have still not played the game because of what they heard about it. The whole game is about overcoming this feeling. real gried, real emotions, real hate.. and then empathy. People failed that exam before they started it :p

well the protagonist is an annoying ill-disposed douche but the game got bigger issues, like crazy bad platforming puzzles and an enemy respawn mechanic that ruins exploration. Everything else is really good tho

The dialogue isn't good but the atmosphere and combat are amazing and more than make up for it. Seems like the plot is actually pretty great if they had just written it better.
