PSP was the best portable ever created, PS2 performance in that small thing and so confortable to holdI still rule in favor of the PSP’s supremacy. Ps4 may have cemented me on playstation as a home console over xbox, but the psp was the gateway console that brought me to playstation in the first place.
It might be a way to test the marketCongrats to them, but I just want a PS Vita 2 and not that PS Portal (PSP for short ) remote tablet they'll be selling.
PS1 — 102.5M

yeah why should anyone here give a fuck how successful sony is? i don't give a shit how many consoles they sell or how much money they make. if they make a good product then that's all i care about. if i stood to make/lose money then i'd give a shit about how well sony or any other company is doing.good news for shareholders

When a company does well, and profits in the process, it usually means more investment into better products and games for the end user. This isn't rocket science. Keep that same energy in all sales threads, however.yeah why should anyone here give a fuck how successful sony is? i don't give a shit how many consoles they sell or how much money they make. if they make a good product then that's all i care about. if i stood to make/lose money then i'd give a shit about how well sony or any other company is doing.
Damn, that's low. I expected more, but i guess supply chain issues and the lack of production shows. It was basically impossible to get a PS5 in the first 2 years. Degrowth in action.PS5 — 41.7M
I like how they tested out an optional add on that was relatively cheap and didn’t involve buying a whole new controller. They then took that data and built the most expensive official controller in the market… and limited accessibility to most people. Interesting way to “test” the market. It might be a way to test the market
Like they did with the ps4 back button attachement before making the edge
That’s a lot of happy customers. Me included!
Humbled and came back ridiculously strong. They have been leading the first division of the console market for almost 30 years (only one setback in 2006-2009)
I know that 'nobody cares', but this presentation of haptics and triggers was mindblowingly good. When I look at the gif, this is exactly how I feel while using Dualsense. Props to the team.Leading the industry on every metric.
That whole controller reveal vid was way better than it needed to be.I know that 'nobody cares', but this presentation of haptics and triggers was mindblowingly good. When I look at the gif, this is exactly how I feel while using Dualsense. Props to the team.
Actually also good news for gamers, for fans. It’s very simple the better the brand does, in this case PlayStation the better it’s future and this hobby ( gaming ).good news for shareholders
Whenever I see posts like that, I always remind ppl ask Palm, BlackBerry, Win Mo/Win Phone users how they feel about how much a products sells. When a company does well, and profits in the process, it usually means more investment into better products and games for the end user. Considering the time it has been in the market it isn't low. The opposite, launch aligned is one of the highest between all consoles in gaming history.Damn, that's low. It means they are the kings of the home console market, so I assume yes.Is that a good number?

As much as I loved the Vita and Dreamcast, I wish they both sold better for more support.Whenever I see posts like that, I always remind ppl ask Palm, BlackBerry, Win Mo/Win Phone users how they feel about how much a products sells.
Hell, we can use Sony and the damn Vita as an example.

If you want games for your console, your console has to sell....so a company selling consoles is exactly what you should give a shit about.yeah why should anyone here give a fuck how successful sony is? i don't give a shit how many consoles they sell or how much money they make. if they make a good product then that's all i care about. if i stood to make/lose money then i'd give a shit about how well sony or any other company is doing.

And none of this would have happened if Nintendo's Yamauchi hadn't publicly backstabbed Sony at the very last minute at CES 1991.Wow... From the cheeky upstarts taking on Sega and Nintendo to over half a billion sales latwr.... Well done Sony!
