Gaf do you change your underwear everyday? Every single day?

Underwear, everyday.

Socks - it depends on if I sweated or not. I have these acrylic socks that don't really stink after a few uses but I only wear them during winter time usually.

Yes, I have, but I think the point here is that some people regularly and willingly go without changing their drawers over days at a time, which IS pretty gross. I mean, once in a while, whatever, it aint gonna kill ya. But dont make a habit of it. It just seems like a step towards being a slob. Clean clothes, apart from being CLEAN clothes, feel good to have on. The actual feeling of wearing them and the little confidence boost you get from knowing you're properly groomed and dressed is nice and a good habit to be in.

Obviously, it's probably a good idea to change into clean clothes after bathing. Bathing should probably be a daily affair, so changing your clothes on a daily basis is generally a good idea. However, that doesn't mean you're going to be filthy and disgusting if you wear the same clothes for longer than x arbitrary amount of time. I mean seriously, at what point do you people think your clothes become 'dirty'? If they were so nasty as you couldn't comprehend wearing them again after a shower, weren't you just the dirtiest mother fucker around right before that shower?

People shower without their underwear? wth?

I know. It's insane.

And those who don't try will never know the pleasure of having a nice soaked pair of undies under dried jeans. While most guys will have to deal with dryness, my junk will be nice and soaked, plus it gives out a great aroma since there's still some left over traces of soap down there.

oh, you were joking.

The best way to go about it is to shower WITH your underwear on. Kill two birds with one stone.

This made me laugh.

Thinking about it seriously though (I'm aware of the error in this) wouldn't they get all stretched out and saggy if you did that? Especially the whitey tighties?

GAF either enjoys trolling or some of the people in here have some kind of distorted view of reality where wearing the same kind of underwear for days in a row or not cleaning yourself after going to the bathroom is seen as fine.

There are some weird excesses going on here in both directions... or maybe I'm the weird one?

Shower: Once a day unless sweaty.

Underwear/socks: Change daily unless sweaty.

Pants: 2 or 3 wears between washing unless sweaty.

Dress shirts: 2 wears between washing unless sweaty.

I'd agree this is probably the norm. Is for me, anyway.

I don't have to worry about anything because I live at home, but I'm sure those who live in the dorms would have some interesting stories to share.

True story, I haven't done any laundry whatsoever in about four weeks now. I don't smell, nobody has remarked on it. I haven't sweat in my daily wear clothes in forever, they're honestly not dirty. I cycle through about ten pairs of jeans and fifteen tee shirts. They all get folded and put back into my suitcase after use, and the suitcase smells clean. No hint of any sort of funk.

I have just run out of clean underwear though. Maybe I should do laundry sometime soon.

The key is hygiene bros. Take showers, don't let your gooch sweat accumulate and turn your crotch all stank.

Yeah you should do laundry soon.

I dunno if I'll agree but I certainly won't criticize like most will. I don't understand why everyone on here seems to sweat their balls off all day. My clothes absolutely don't come anywhere near smelling bad after one wear. Thinking back, they might have back when I was going through puberty but certainly not anymore.

I can't stand to put my underwear back on after I take them off to get a shower or something, even if it has been less than a day.

I can see why people are opposed to not changing underwear daily. I can't see why people are opposed to wearing more than one pair a day.

The longest I'll go w/o changing underwear is a day and a half, and that's if I'm chilling around on the weekend, but even sitting on the computer all day will make my butt sweaty and gross. I always change after every shower.

It's not a weird question. With the right amount of luck and baby powder, you ride a pair for nearly a month. How do you think I got through my college days?

Not when the common laundry is $1.25 and you have finite amount of quarters kinda in the back of your head. Its a sucky feeling especially when you know that the trade-off is a no brainer. I look forward to the days when I will have my own washer/dryer.

I'll be damned if I bother changing underwear on my days off. And I'll also be damned if I even bother wearing socks.

Unless of course I go out and do something on my days off, which is never.

this thread is a hot-ass mess

So I ask you, brave female willing to enter this terrible thread, if a new boyfriend were to reveal he changed underwear and socks every few days or so, what would you reaction be?

Also, in the same scenario, if he revealed he washed his sheets once a month at most?

Underwear and socks: I change them every day.

T-shirts: Usually worn once a day unless it's hot outside, then I'll probably change into a clean, dry one if possible.

Jeans: I can wear the same pair for a week straight, but I usually will change up my jeans for the most part; 99% of my jeans are unwashed though since I've bought them but they'll eventually be washed at some point.

This is how I picture slob-GAF living. Only thing it is missing are anime statues.

I eagerly await the next installment of slob-GAF:

GAF do you throw away all your trash? Every single piece?

Cheez Doodles stealing the show.

All I think of when I see that picture is "Do you want ants? Cause that's how you get ants" from Archer.

Winter: one pair 2 days

Summer: everyday.

This is me. They're boxers people, I'm not going to get shit and piss all over them just because they're in the general area. If I was working out or something I'll change them but if it's a low activity day I'll wear the same pair for two days.

Socks and shirts changed everyday, sometimes twice. Pants can go 3-4 days.

I change my underwear twice a day and shower at least once a day....anything less is gross.

Toilet paper bro.

Lol @ guys changing their undies twice a day. Seriously, are you shitting on yourself or what? To be honest i change mines every two days and even so, they remain perfectly clean.

All of my apparel goes through a look and smell test and if it passes both it can be worn again.

I do not have limits on the number of days because I do not keep track of something so stupid.

If nobody can even tell they have been worn before then why does it even matter?

GAF overreacting in this thread. The norm is not always the most reasonable. This method saves quite a bit of money on time, water, energy, and detergent

I agree that there seem to be some bigger issues at hand here. It doesn't require good genes to wipe your fucking ass after you shit.

Weeks/months at a time? What the fuck?

I keep myself clean and don't really do any strenous activities in jeans. They don't really get smelly or dirty. Just air em out every now and again and they're good to go.

And nope, not raw denim. I'd love to get raw denim someday, but even regular jeans benefit from less washes. After jeans have gone through a half dozen washes or more, they get far too loose.

I basically rotate in between two pairs. I'll wear a pair for a few days, or even a week or two, and rotate. Ever few months or so, I'll wash them. If I get any stains or anything, I'll spot wash them. I just put them up flat every night which pretty much airs them out completely.

Shitting ourselves? No, my underwear are quite clean. It just feels fresher to throw on some talc powder and a fresh pair in the late afternoon after wearing some underwear around for the day. I do laundry every sunday so it's not like I'm running out any time soon.

I generally wear fresh underwear and socks every day. (Though I only wear socks when it's cold and I have to wear shoes... I wear sandals as much as possible.) Fresh shirt too. If I have the day off and I'm not leaving the house, I'll put on yesterday's dirty shit. And if I run out of fresh stuff and don't feel like doing laundry, I'll let it slide for a day or two. That's rare.

Pants are a totally different story. I used to wear fresh pants every day. Then one day my dad told me how he and his friends used to wear their Levis every day, day after day, until they were so dirty that they would repel water, it would bead off them. He said everyone did that, it was just what people did. (This would have been in the 1940s/50s) What about the smell? He said he never recalled that being an issue. I thought that was awesome and since then I'll wear a pair of jeans for two or three weeks between washes.

A combination of having ass hair, working out, and a hot environment mean that changing twice a day is a must sometimes.

Plus a fresh pair is just nice as hell.

he'd have to go back to being forever alone

Considering how little room underwear takes up in a wash, why dont you just invest in a few more packs of underwear? :/
