On the new Club Nintendo website how can I tell when surveys expire? There's no year that I've seen. Is it possible to go back to the old more functional list style?

As far as we can tell, surveys you were hoarding (i.e., for games that you registered or intended to buy before March 2011) never expire (they always got extended before their 5-year expiry date arrived and they still are as of late 2011). They will still list a date, but you can ignore them for the most part (or just calculate the 5-years after release on your own if you want to be certain). Any surveys you get now, or for which you first filled out a survey in April of 2011 or later will be due within 120 days of you earning the survey, so the date is accurate to be the next time it comes up.

Thus, whatever the survey, there is no real need for them to display the year any more and they don't.

I just reached platinum with the purchase of Sakura Samurai, and I'll be over by 10 after the post-play survey.

And crap I just realized I'll get KI 3D Classic too...Amazon's code for it won't expire right?

Here's a list of current/upcoming 3rd party 3DS titles that do/will contain CN codes.
Code:
Sonic Generations 2011-11-22
WWE All-Stars 2011-11-22
Jaws: Ultimate Predator 2011-12-01
Nano Assault 2011-12-02
Resident Evil: Revelations 2012-02-07
Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games	2012-02-14
Tales of the Abyss 2012-02-14
CRUSH 3D 2012-03-06
Order Up!! 2012-04-10

Sega, Majesco, Capcom, Namco, THQ and Ignition all have at least one title in the program. The question is whether this is going to be standard for all titles from now on, NOA is selecting titles (which makes no sense), or publishers are "opting in."

What third party 3DS titles were released in December or January but aren't part of this list?

For Resident Evil: Revelations there was neither an "intend to buy" option or an early registration bonus, from what I can tell. I take it only Nintendo games will have these?

Yeah there wasn't an option for that one. I think I've only seen first party stuff on the intend list too.

I'm hoping Metal Gear Solid 3D will have one.

The only one of the third party games to have an early reg. bonus was Sonic Generations (or perhaps WWE, in any case, there was only one of those two). As none of the others have qualified so far, we think this was an error in the database (like the bonus registration survey SML2 has) and it is not intended for any future games to qualify for early registration. Intend to Buy has always been restricted to titles published by Nintendo.

I'm hoping Metal Gear Solid 3D will have one.
I'd be shocked if it didn't.

Damnit, I wanted that Game Card case. I completely forgotten about it and when I got back on it said it was out of stock. I hope it gets refilled soon enough.

I figured they'd sell out pretty fast. Hopefully they'll get more in stock soon.
It says it's "On Back Order". Does that mean it's likely they'll be getting more stock?
New items in the store quite often get sold out within the first fortnight. There will be more. Usually takes about a month before they restock, though.

Holy shit Europe has some sweet prizes. The amount of bags alone are astounding. (The DSi bag is really cool)

Edit: Holy shit the Mario Kart sunshade is hilarious.

As long as people are bartering... What exactly is the coin to star conversion rate? I might not mind trading some North American prizes for a classic controller myself.

If we could get some sort of NA <--> Euro Club Nintendo circle going...

I already have a game registered, but I am trying to register another copy. Is there a way to register the second copy and receive points for it??

At the bottom of this page

... it seems stars are determined by the retail price of a game.

Stars Registration hardware:
Wii console = 1000 Stars
Nintendo DS = 500 Stars

Registration software:
Price < £ 26 (€ 29) = 100 Stars
Price £ 26-43 (€ 29-49) = 200 Stars,
Price > £ 43 (€ 49) = 250 Stars
(Recommended retail price)

Does Europe get Stars for post play surveys too?

I'm liking this new trend of third party games having Club Nintendo codes, I had to do a double take when I opened my Nano Assault the other day.

Mario Party 9 is now up on Intend To Buy if anyone plans on purchasing that.
Hmm. I intend to buy, just, ya know, maybe not right now.

Interesting -- it wasn't on the list on the CN site when I checked last week. Added it to the list.

Edit: It's still not listed over on https://club.nintendo.com/eligible-products.do . Heh.

Yeah, I tried to input the code and it said to try again later because the game is not out yet.

This is interesting....

Go"Nintendo" has an article up saying that the 3DS Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games has a Club Nintendo code, but it doesn't register for any coins... and yet the game IS listed as being eligible on the CN site (https://club.nintendo.com/eligible-products.do) -and- it does come with a registration code.

Supposedly, entering the code gives the user the following response -- again, this is what GN say:

Has anyone tried registering the 3DS Mario & Sonic?

Edit: I just learned that GN is banned by GAF filters. Anyone know why? I mean, I can guess, but...

I think I heard somewhere that they make stuff up.

But that is pretty crappy, having a modern Club Nintendo code that nets you no coins :(

I was wondering if anyone had the GAF thread that resulted in the bannage. Heh.

Well, I'm puzzled as to whether or not that's necessarily what's going on... I mean, it's ALSO possible (as weird as this sounds) that the Wii game comes with a code but isn't eligible... maybe... I was just wondering if anyone else had M&S and could test this for us.

Oh... the update for Super Mario Bros. (3DS VC) is now available in North America. Save states, new main menu icon, etc..
