I love this comment on the article;
This forum user clearly just wants some attention for himself.
He knows what he's talking about generally I suppose and it does make sense.
However, I'm confused as to why anyone would in their right mind believe him over actual third party developers in contact with Nintendo. It's already been stated by multiple companies directly in contact with Nintendo that ALL games run in 1080p.
This forum user is merely running from mere speculation.
Though I doubt that there is any conspiracy from Microsoft, I don't think anyone should have believed this guy in the first place.

There were several shipments, it didn't hit a million until April. It's shipped 1.1m total so there was another 100k shipment as late as last summer.

Anyway, in my post I was talking about my desires for Wii U "power" and thinking that maybe from what Ideaman has said it's not going to really satisfy quite to the level I want. However, I always keep forgetting about the Zelda and the Garden demo's which I thought were pretty damned impressive. The Garden floor demo more-so I feel because the area was much more open than the Zelda one and unless there was some trickery it was a double render job too (Screen and uPad). Given it was such early hardware I probably shouldn't be *quite* so pessimistic.
Still, I can't work out why the hell Nintendo are so damned secretive about EVERYTHING, even stuff we know's in development.
Short dev cycle, V10001 kit - still blows anything current gen out of the water (the lighting, mostly). Yeah, so much for "basically a 360"...

I told you, since yesterday, i've read a lot of conspiracy theories against me. Hell, if my veryyyyyy reasonable and explained-to-the-heaven posts are taken that way by some, i can't imagine the spatial flood if i've said "Wii U = 0,6x xbox360" or "It's SO powerful, it blows PS3 to the ground baby !"
The internet has changed quite a lot since my active years on it.

He keeps his lies very, very realistic so they become believable to the idiots on Neogaf. I don't know why Neogaf is considered a source. Most of the people on Neogaf are lazy liberals who don't have jobs.

Well, it's a better summary than some gamers websites.
The title is confusing. I never stated that the padlet will display pictures in relief, like the 3DS. It's the content rendered on it that is on three dimensions, mmhhkay ?
And my sources would have told me if such features were available on the current DRC dev kit, which is not the case.

This wasn't my goal at all, otherwise i would have tried to make a profit of it by being known far and wide, posting everywhere, having a blog with donations, you know. I have nothing to prove or to brag about, i just happen to have second-hand knowledge about the Wii U, a mix of 50% very subjective/impressions infos, and 50% more factual data. Nothing revolutionary or that could spoil the surprise for E3, but enough to spice up the speculation thread and this community, that i'm following since the GAF days.

Is it possible for games to toggle the streaming feature on and off? Like, you could tell the game to only render on one of the screens, thus improving performance? I would like games that use the touch screen as a UI, but with the ability to play the game off of the controller if you want to turn off the television.

What someone needs can of course be debated; the Australian Official Nintendo Magazine perhaps thinks we need to know basically nothing except for what Wii peripherals the new system will support and how games will be stored. Nevertheless, it is about hardware and may contain a few interesting tidbits. Has this issue been released yet?
