is the one behind this barrier we need to destroy, and I'm working together with the uber cute Rin to that end. Should I tell her that I suspect him so we can confirm?
One really, really dumb part of Emma that other's might not pick up on is how everyone 'casually' bumps into each other, or spots each other, all the time.
In London, an area of several hundred square miles. The way the show depicts people's encounters you'd think that there were about 5 streets in the whole capital.

I doubt that wealthy Victorian elites ventured into the 90% of the city inhabited by dirty poors, so it doesn't seem entirely improbable that the characters frequently meet each other by chance. It may be a genteel show, but that doesn't mean that the characters aren't raging classists!

This show hits all the right notes to make us root for Mutta. He's goofy without being an idiot. He's smart without being condescending. Despite his declaration that the older brother should lead the younger, he's not bitter that his younger brother has surpassed him. The scene where Mutta
has his face pressed up against the panel covering the astronaut suit
is probably going to be my favorite scene in the entire series. It exemplifies exactly why his character is so lovable.
Mysterious Girlfriend X 2
Between Urabe dictating the rules of their relationship, to Tsubaki nearly getting cut up every time he tries to make a move, the show so far has felt like a metaphor for that first love with a girl who is obviously more experienced with relationships. Questions arise in our minds like, "Am I doing this right?", "Shouldn't we be doing this?" All of it thus far makes me believe that relationships are an all too familiar experience for Urabe.
What plans did she have on Sunday? What plans?
All I know is that my jaw was wide open while I was watching this so my girlfriend thought it fitting to use her finger to accumulate her own drool and promptly insert it into my mouth. Needless to say, like Chihayafuru makes karuta seem much more cooler than it is, Mysterious Girlfriend X makes sucking drool from the finger of another seem more enjoyable than what reality dictates.

I don't get it. I've seen a lot of posts like this in relation to the E7 movie but I feel like no-one has told me what, exactly, makes it bad. Could you elaborate?
Let's just say she does not know the difference between drool and mucus. What I thought would be moderately thin saliva actually turned out to be the remnants of a past cold she had. Yup, there was nothing sexy about that experience.

Yes. My friend gave me one of them as a joke before he left to go work at disney world (lucky bastard). We used to call these things "click -n-fucks".
It was Snow Drops or something like that. These games are physically painful to play.

My first reaction: holy fuck. This show is fucking insane. In one episode they
basically took the entire run of Saki (or every single volume of Chihayafuru!) and compressed it into less than 10 minutes
. I'm... I have no idea how I feel about that. I think it probably works because it's a side-quel/spin-off, so they can
trim the fat of a typical sports show
. I suppose I should be impressed since it solves my main complaint when it comes to sports shows, but
I really want to see some mahjong
.
The service is pretty amazing as well - if you care about the original series in any way. There are some awesome introductions, but when they bust out
Saki
I - as darkside might put it - marked out like Marky-Mark at a Marky-Mark concert.
They are really not fucking around with this show. I just have no idea what the end game of the show is supposed to be since we're already where we're at now. Presumably they have a Saki S2 prepped and ready to launch or this would be the most wasted anime ever.
Gargantua recalls Jill disappearing in his memory after he accidentally stabbed her. She disappeared much the same way. Lillith explains that Jill aka Hatsumi aka whatever is actually her little sister Eve who is the source of all "souma" which has to do with eternal life.
then she asks if Gargantua likes it rough after he grabs her. Classy.
Lillith creates a blank book and traps Gargantua in it. She tells him to create any world he wants in it.
He creates some shitty world like the one he was in earlier.
This show does have a certain level of fabulousness to it. He vows to capture EVE.
Lillith of course wont allow it. But this does somewhat explain why we first saw Gargantua in this strange setting.
Its like this show actually does attempt to explain things but its so badly edited and paced the result is just a complete clusterfuck mess of scenes being hastily tied together.

I really hope Chihayafuru keeps having a great and fast pacing. Cause KnT right now is pretty slow going and I don't want to watch 2 anime at the same time that go nowhere.
