Also, remember kids, this is NOT how you play support Soraka with Graves, and I died too much and took too much farm, and played like a mad person, and it's terrible. It was, however, rather amusing. I think the other team might have only gotten one turret (top) before we took down their nexus.

*edit* Oh, I got up to "unstoppable" halfway through the game but died some point after that. :p

New chalice item looks interesting, I've already been experimenting with boots 3 -> chalice on some of the more mana hungry AP mids and I quite like it. I would definitely want to to try it on champions like brand, orianna or anivia.

Is that a referral reward for Athene, perhaps?

It's pretty odd that he'd receive it before TotalBiscuit, considering that TB earned (check description) his referral- reward way before Athene even joined league...

The item itself however looks appealing.
TotalBiscuit recently passed 10,000 referrals. Which earns him to this I guess:

A lot of those changes are really good. If only other champions would get nerfed as hard as Ryze. Yi clear times are going to be insane.

Wow at that ryze ult nerf. Removing the bonus mana? God damn :\

I loved the skill because it gave you mana at level 6 so you could lane for a bit longer. So disappointing.

CLG throws way to much now. I really cant believe they lost IPL4, but they don't change for the circumstances. I believe they will breakup before the end of the year.

If the korean teams become more mainstream, IE going to other tournaments and not just ones in SK, it will turn into another SC type experience.

Edit: The poses they make these guys do for pictures for the OGN tournament is worth watching it in just itself lololol.

I'd usually complain that Swain nor Olaf didn't get a new skin but these skins are so fucking dope, I have no right at all to complain. Lee Sin nerf is decent. Olaf nerf is okay, I thought they might add back the mana cost to Reckless Swing.

I like the Annie buff. I was terrible at Ryze, so I'm not sure why he got nerfed so much -- will he still be at all useful, or is he worse than Evekarmasejuani now?

Sad to see Lulu get nerfed, now she'll presumably become totally unused, not even suitable as an AP mid anymore? No healing for support, right, or will the CC still be worth it?

I agree that the Talon rake mana cost is funny. He was ultrapowerful with it when he came out, which is why it became more costly.

Shen non-global ult would make sense since everyone besides what, Gangplank, had theirs taken away too.

I don't understand nerfing Warwick. He doesn't seem to dominate that much, he always ran slowly in the jungle due to heavy wolf hair, and he uses a ton of mana already, which will now get worse.

Is sunfire cape every actually useful? It always seemed like such tiny damage, reduced further by magic resist, is barely a helpful addition for the gold cost. Randuin's also sounds nearly useless now. A one-second slow? Psh, one second is nothing, man.

A lot of those changes are really good. If only other champions would get nerfed as hard as Ryze. Yi clear times are going to be insane.
Why would you want champions to get kneejerk nerfed super hard, man? If you had your way, we'd all be playing nothing but Master Yi and Tryndamere and everyone else would be bottom tier. ;(

Last but not least, all-chat will be disabled by default? They should disable teamchat by default and leave allchat on, since you presumably get griefed or racism'd more by your teammates than by allchat.

They lost real bad. CLG made really bad calls and tower dived way too many times early game giving MIG blaze every dragon. Plus they fed graves alot in those tower dives. SV lost an early oracles too because of it.

Ryze is weird in that they both nerfed and buffed him if you read into that. It's more like a small retooling verses a straight nerf. Some of his base ability damage actually went up which should mean he'll be better at earlier levels when you don't have a ton of mana stashed up anyways.

Could make him stronger pre 6 but weaker post 6.

PS: Sunfire Cape could easily be fixed. Just switch the damage done to true damage, and boom the item is useful again.

They're basically refocusing Ryze from a mana = power to now needing a mix of mana and AP. Just theorycrafting his early game will get better, he'll now need AP items as much as mana items and his final build will end up being a lot less tanky if he wants to carry like he used to. It's probably for the best. He was very strong as is.

Precisely, just anything to make the damage more than an expensive side note that helps kill minions, or something that requires the tank to sit there for 10 seconds. I guess they're afraid of sunfire Eve again or something.

One or more people in this thread were saying that brutalizer + last whisper is bad because one is flat reduction and one is % reduction and you reduce your own effectiveness or something. Does the same apply to sorc shoes + void staff, and if you intend to get void staff you should get different shoes?

I always forget myself, but I see pros sell off the sorc shoes for ionian late game when it goes 40+ minutes. The 20 mpen isn't as valuable as the CDR for later.

This really confuses me. I mean I know I'm the world's worst Ryze, but Ryze is certainly not a point and click champion, he's a champion that requires practice/understanding to pull off the proper spell cycles and timing. Furthermore, he has no gap closer or escape and is thus susceptible to ganks (unlike say, Ahri). He has no hard crowd control unlike some other AP mids (unlike say, Ahri).

Wouldn't someone like tryndamere or caitlyn be more of a point and click hero since they typically rely on auto-attacks? :p

Ryze nerfs are welcome. He was a little on the powerful side for his relatively easy skillset. And I might start using Talon again =D, hes very fun to use.
