It's going to be awesome. Eight hours of live streams in one day, I'm not going to have to care about sleeping because my exams are done. I can talk as loud as I want on skype because I'm in student halls, I'll also have constant commentary, analysis and breaking updates from Geoff Keighley/Michael Pachter & crew in the background.
I will most likely try to hibernate as much as possible the week leading up to the conference, just so that when I skimp on sleep that week, I'll be in a bit better shape.
And all that my family and co-workers know is that I'll be "off the grid" that week. So they won't call to bug me, haha...

Assuming it does turn out to be ED2, I'd love to know how it came about, although we would never find out I'm sure. Did Nintendo contact them, or was it Dyack who reached out? Even more puzzling is why Nintendo would work with them again to begin with, outside of owning stock. There must be some sort of dual ownership on the IP, considering all the western out houses that Nintendo has already for this kind of thing.
Anyway, the article puts together all the major info we have nicely. Unless Dyack is outright lying, it's a pretty simple process of elimination to arrive at ED2.

Dyack weasel words, that's my main concern. Like, they worked on Darksiders, so to him a "most requested IP" is Darksiders II. Or, when he says "our most requested" he literally means their most requested. Not the fans, but the studios. What Dyack wants to work on.
At face value the evidence does point to either Eternal Darkness or Too Human. But face value with Dyack is saying a lot.

There won't be a Wii-U sports, they've said they are not going to copy that formula for the new system, but they want games that have a similar impact

but seriously the first time I see smash bros in HD on the system I want it to be the new game, not an older one.
Hopefully that trademark from Nintendo actually means something.
I've just been thinking a lot about smash bros lately because of PASBR. Damnit I love smash...I'd buy a re-release in a heartbeat for competent online, and I think it'd easily be a multi-million seller.

A racing game where you hang glide in, a snowboard dangling from your feet. You drop down to board down the mountain, weaving in between trees. As an avalanche begins, in the nick of time, you approach a lake at the bottom of the mountain, hop on a jet ski, and blast off to the finish line.
If we got one, would you prefer top-down or free-cam? I've been pondering over what I'd like... On one hand, it would be cool to have a true sequel to Windwaker (on the same scale, I mean) on the more powerful hardware. On the other, I really really like top-down Zelda...

I would actually be shocked. It would be crazy if Nintendo revealed a brand new Zelda game on a console, 7 months after the last one came out. I don't know about that.

At launch, it'll sell the most out of the whole lineup pretty easily. Unless there's Pikmin/Mario.
They can get away with a lot of trailers this E3
just like they did it for 3DS last year

Man, it's so easy to forget the 3DS. We're going to see new Fire Emblem/Paper Mario/Animal Crossing trailers, hopefully get Monster Hunter 3G in Europe and the U.S On top of that we'll get new firmware, new third party titles and hopefully Zelda 3DS.

No, I think sony is going to generate a considerable amount of buzz this E3. Last of Us will be big, they have GoW, a new game from their santa monica studio, that EVE online shooter, and probably a bunch of western oriented vita stuff like CoD that wont help their situation in japan. And who knows? Maybe even FFvsXIII!! heh
MS I think is going to have another dud of a show for the 3rd year in a row. I think their only showstopper is going to be Halo 4 with everything else being multiplatform.
Meh, as much of a fan I am of MS and Sony, I can't help but feel that in this video I'm about to link, the Pokémon trainer represents Nintendo, the Pokémon the Nintendo IP's and the guy at 1.10 represents MS/Sony.
